  1. Then that too would be killer
  2. I think it'd be great.. as Worsin had stated "as an option".. NWN: Hordes of the Underdark did something similiar to this where you could use a savegame from NWN: Shadows of Undrentide... It carried over your character's stats and inventory and really propelled the story to be believable (if you decided to go with the option)... KotOR 3 would have to be significantly more difficult though if you import an already high level character. That was perhaps the one downfall of NWN: HotU, if you didn't have a previous save, it took quite awhile to generate your character... Still, I'd vote for it :D
  3. 1) Open your "swkotor2.ini" file. (it should be in the game's main directory) 2) Scroll down to the [Graphic Options] header 3) Find the entry "FullScreen=0" 4) Change to "FullScreen=1" (without quotes) 5) Save That should fix your problem :D
  4. After you hit the ~, press your TAB key. If you hear a sound, or the cursor select moves .. then your console isn't activated. Try hitting ~ again... Also, try bringing up the console while you're in your inventory screen (shouldn't matter) but the animation "thingy" is mis-leading. Your game can be unpaused, with animations, etc. and the console will still work...
  5. For TSL, the console is "Invisible". The actions are the same, by pressing the "~" key (no quotes), unfortunately, you're just not able to see what you're typing... Type blindly but slowly, and the cheats should still work for you... Another alternative, and more highly reliable, is to use tk102's KSE (Kotor Savegame Editor)... get it here: http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php
  6. There's another bug caused by the "de-bugging" patch (rather ironic) It involves a conversation dialogue (with Kreia & Atton) on the Telos Academy (Atris). Apparently the "genius" working on this one forgot to take out the [cheat node] trees within the dialogue causing a looping 'no affect' effect unless you choose a specific dialogue path... (refuse to give up your weapons and let Kreia convince you to do so)... So my question is, "when are they going to release a patch to fix the patch?" *sigh* I have lost any hope that NWN 2 is going to be good if Obsidian keeps up their shoddy work..
  7. for those that want/like to use melee weapons, but like the saber's upgrades... you can try out my latest mod " Links are in my sig file for pcgamemods and my site. Just look for "Darksword" Makes for a good 'starter' weapon, plus non-saber users can use it when you're finally able to build yourself a lightsaber...
  8. ... You add a KotOR modding file extensions to your callname.. wait a minute .. DOH! :"> ... You pretend you're in a swoop bike driving home from work/school .. that's right.. to play KotOR (I or II) ... You've actually searched Google to find a recipe for Juma Juice... ... ^^^ you actually found it
  9. Jolee by far! :D Jolee: She...was my wife Revan: You were married? Jolee: You know another way of getting a wife?!? Now where was I? ...... I want to be just like him when I "grow up"
  10. Nope, trust me you're doing everything right... but unfortunately nothing has worked so far to get rid of the GUI's. For now, we're stuck with them... ----------------- If you need shots for a mod, take T3 with you (disable frame buffer effects). Have your PC "strike a pose" then quickly TAB over to T3 and CAPS LOCK for 1st person view. Snap a few shots, rinse and repeat. Visas & Kreia might not be such a good choice however, their Force Sight makes more some funky shots
  11. hmmm... what vid card do you have? Or are you running this on a laptop perchance?
  12. Try adding this line in your swkotor2.ini file under the [Graphics Options] header: AllowWindowedMode=1 This allows you to toggle the game from windowed mode (or minimized) to Full screen. To toggle, use the Alt+Enter key combo... Also, while you're in the swkotor2.ini, under the [Display Options] header and the [Graphics Options] header, check to see if you have this entry: (the same for each header) FullScreen=1 Hope that helps!
  13. Man... King's Quest brings back the memories. That plus the fact it seemed there was new one released every year. What was the final version they made?.. or *gasp* are they still producing them?! Though not quite the classic as King's Quest, I think I may be one of the few that still has Baldur's Gate & Baldur's Gate II still loaded on my machine as well "
  14. Now THAT would've made the game worth it's money!
  15. Just unzip all the contents into a single folder and run the execute. From there, you can pick from the list on the left (your save games)... pick a sub-section of what you want to add/delete/edit. Depending on what is selected.. different options will open up for you. It's always a good idea to backup your save games FIRST however. If for some unforseen bug pops up... you can kiss that savegame "toodles" I hate giving links to other forums (even though I'm a regular..heheh), but this is tk102's "Official" thread for KSE. Often times the prog will be better explained there, as well as bug reporting and the latest update news. http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=123671 Hope that helps! @AlaricQelDroma Yeah, every now and then they let me loose for good behavior I actually just signed up today with my whopping 2 posts.. hehehe Ahh well, it's always good to get the name out there. Can't have any other ChAiNz.2da's running around... the world can barely put up with one of 'em
  16. Indeed. Definitely a good option seeing as how the cheats console in TSL is 'invisible'. Nothing like typing blindly and 'hoping' you spelled it right You can get it (KSE) here: http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php It's always good to check regularly as tk102 likes to update the tool quite often..
