"cept that COD3 doesn't have Coop." True. But, COD3 does have multi player at least. It would be neat to be aBle to play COD3's campaign in co-op though. "COD3 was not the greatest either" Best shooter I've ever played. In fact, it might be the first shooter I've bothered to finish, IIRC. Fun. Fun. Fun.

Gears of War. Outside of graphics, COD3 is 1 million times better. Not a bad game; but sorely overrated.
-
Wait a second. I thoguht the customer was the most important thing in business. At least iw as told that in another thread. If this is true, why isn't EB at best firing all these ahole employees or at least go out of business since who'd want to shop at a place with such horrible customer service? Hmmmm...
-
"Dragon Age, will it be as good as Planscape Torment, probably not" It'll likely be better like most (KOTOR notwithstanding) BIO games are. R00fles!
-
I went to EB today. Picke dup Gears of War. Once again, I received excellent service. Which I have recieved 99.9% of the time I'm there. Perhaps, it's the customers' fault. Perhaps, you put out those rude, arrogant, woe is me vibe that a human being has to react negatively to you. I blame you if you have problems with EB.

Except most things considered sci fi are actually fantasy ie SW.

"The internet is NEVER rude to me. hahahahaha" I second your HAHAHAHA!.... Idiot.

"It says no such thing. It says that lots of people enjoyed the third part." O RLY? That doesn't make sense because there wa sno way to know how good or bad part 3 would be unless you saw the first two. If you sww the first two movies,a nd thoguht they sucked yet saw part 3 anyways you are beyond dumb. Sorry. It's illogical to hate the first two of a series yet watch the 3rd movie. The success of the third movie shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that depsite all the whining people more or elss enjoyed the firts two movies enough to watch the third.
-
Kor wins. P.S. Now, he'll reverse what he said just to 'spite' me which is a common occurance in this awesome NHL threads. P.S.S. NYR are now back in the play off top 8, and they've done it without Shanahan. I was right. You were wrong. Shanahan is a curse tothe Rangers. I could see them choking when he returns next week. R00fles!

Weird. I do all my game buying at EB, and have done so for years and they've been nothing but excellent. GO EB GO!!!

wut u sae? me know understandee.

Nope. He's a smart, successful man who makes movies people want to see ebcause they are good (if not great entertainment). Period. IIRC, The third part of the prequel trilogy did rather well which says that lots of people enjoyed the first two in spite of all the whining and outcry. And, I have NO doubts that a huge number of whiny dinks who post on this internet geek site were all amongst the first to watch it. P.S. I have yet to watch part 3 myself sinc eI don't go to theatres, and have yet to see it on DVD. L0LLERZ!

COD3 RULES XBOX 360!! ME will (should, anyways) crush it! addenmum: http://blogs.mercurynews.com/aei/2007/03/g..._platform_.html Cool Quote: "Butterfly Effect."
-
Pretty much any character build can be made 'all powerful'. Espicially if you throw in magic items otherwise the spell casting classes have the edge. I even had a full bard with like 6 con be one of the more powerful characters on an action focused PW.
-
That's highly debateable just by using the smalla mount of examples I give. There's a host more of evdience to eb found within Saddam's 20+ years of 'rule'.

"Can you change the main character's appearance in Mass Effect? In every shot of him I've seen he looks exactly the same." You can. Including gender. They just using this particular guy as the main piece of their marketing so when people see him they instantly know it's ME. I, perosanlly, would prefer if they chose a HOT female as their marketing ploy ala Aribeth; but ah well... soemtimes the ladies get the eye candy first. R00fles!
-
Not to mention the KOTOR, NWN, and BG alluring ladies too. http://uk.xbox360.gamespy.com/xbox-360/mas...t/771004p1.html Game spy jumps into the fray! We find out that the 'space zombies' are actually called 'husks' And, the firts hint of ME's 'moral meter' ala KOTOR's good vs evil and JE's open palm vs closed fist meters. In ME, the terms are Paragon/Renegade system. It shall be interetsing as the delve into that. I guess that it has to do with how you deal with Spectre and show off humankind. The exact quote is: "BioWare is aiming to have the players make hard choices which not only affect their game immediately after making them, but also have repercussions throughout the universe. Muzyka is fond of describing Shepard as the "tip of the spear of humanity" in that Shepard is the first human Spectre operative, and hence is under constant scrutiny by the rest of universe as a model of human behavior. The doctors showed a brief glimpse of the "Paragon/Renegade" system, which are two separate meters that reflect the player's actions, and teased with, "We'll talk more about how that actually works later." Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

"The US removal of Saddam has led Iraq into chaos and destruction," Nah. Iraq was already in chaos, and destruction. When Saddam first got in power, Iraq was the most advanced of the ME countries even rivalling (if not surpassing) Isreal in that regard. Saddam's descisions during his rule changed all that. The wars HE started led to millions of Iraqis dying not to mention those Iraqis that he targted for mass killings, cost the country billions of dollars, and sapped the life out of the country. He, himself, with all his power lived in constant fear of assassinations even using body doubles at times due to this fear. Not exactly as powerful as he claimed. I don't see Bush and other world leaders using body doubles. He also didn't control the whole country most evidenced by the Kurdish areas. Let's not forget the destruction of the Iraqi Marshlands. But, yeah, Saddam's rule was a symbol of peace, harmony, and progress. L0L0L0L0L0L0LLIPOP

And, BIO just sold Morgoth. L0LLERZ! Proof, once again, sex sales!!! "Well the setting looks pretty meh" I'm not a big fna of 'space games' either; but I'm looking for the stuff I like in BIO games: interetsing characters, worthwhile choices (likely not at the level of FO but meh), a not neccessarily original story; but interetsing nontheless, good combat (not coutning KOTOR), cool character customization. The setting itself is not high on my list (unless it's fantasy and it has dwarves!).

"CoD3 sucks." I disagree. And, I say that hating shooters and not being a fan of war games. Hades: Mass Effect is 3 games. I'm sure there are going to be other games for xbox 360 as well that you'll like. But, it's ok. Not everyone can buy every system so that's cool.
-
XBOX 360 is not that expensive. It took me about 3-4 months to save for it, and I'm not exactly rich. Besides, it has Call of Duty 3!!!!! And, it'll have an exclusive game called Mass Effect. addenum: http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2007/03/06/gd...effect-eyes-on/ What's wrong with ME's eyes? The previews seem to be rather harsh over EYES!!! addenum 2: http://previews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1550/Mass-Effect/p1/ You get to choose your birthplace, and effects the story!!! Sweet!!!
-
Yeah. Ok. If you say so.
-
Really? I don't feel naturally violent. In fact, people who use violence tick me off, and make me want to beat the crap out of them!!!
-
Sounds good. btw, It's 99% likely, I will so I'll be able to play the sport sgames on line and now COD3 since I'm enjoying that way more than i thought I would. Crushing peons with a verhicle is fun. And, sharpshooting punks from miles away is cool. My biggest beef are the tanks, and they can be neat too.
