I'd agree, except Bao-Dur isn't just a regular mechanic - he engineered the Mass Shadow Generator that ended the war, after all. I think I'd remember Oppenheimer if I were a general... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unless the mass shadow generator was something that was developped between Bao-dur and Revan only. Thus Exile perhaps only knew about it but not who made it.

I am playing a game through as Dark-side and this wierd bug happens with Bao-Dur. He mysteriously goes from a slight dark-side alignment (enough that the black appears in the lines on his face and his pic shows the nice red background) and changes to neutral. This occurs after I enter a new area. I'm on Dantooine and it happens when I enter a building or enter a new area of the map - any time the game has to load a new area, when the game returns BaoDur is neutral. Anybody else have this happen? Any suggestions as to how it might be fixable?

I had this problem with my ati 9500pro on a desktop pc. All I did was update to the latest catalyst drivers, set my refresh rate in the KOTOR2 game options to the same rate as in my desktop settings, and presto the movies now work. I'd be curious to see if it works for others or if it was just a fluke for me. Either way, I'm happy. Now I'll finish playing through as DS and be able to see the movies I missed the first time through.

Thanks stoffe. I was just reading some of the stuff that got cut from the game, and yes the HK factory was included in the cuts (as was HK-47 confronting Remote and/or GO-TO). ANd I don't think Revan went in the Ebon Hawke. He would have left after KOTOR1, and told Bastilla to wait for him (as she said in the Sith Holocron in the game). Which makes me think if Bastilla recorded that in a Sith holocron than perhaps Revan (in an official storyline) went back to the Sith ways. But perhaps he did go in the Ebon Hawke, just him and T3, then got T3 to fly the Hawke back with everything locked down so no one knows where he went. Hopefully some day the Lucas world will let us know.

I wasn't sure if this should go in Storyline Discussion section, but its hard to ask my questions and discuss posssible answers without giving spoilers. So I've just completed Kotor2, and found that I have a few unanswered questions about the plot. I really enjoyed the game, other than having to disable movies as it caused my game to crash after each one (but that is an issue for another section of the forums ). So now I'm wondering if I missed stuff that is answered in the movies I haven't watched, or if this is stuff that has been cut from the game. In no particular order: - Do we know why the navicomputer is voice locked in the Ebon Hawke, and who locked it (was it Bastilla?) - What hapenned to Remote and GO-TO at Malachor V? - Does the HK factory exist? Did anyone find it (if so how?) I know theres other questions I had, but thats all that comes to mind right now. I haven't read through all the info about what was cut from the game (I've just read discussions where the game was rushed and things were cut, or left unfinished). I don't want to add fuel to the debate about the game's storyline, as overall I enjoyed it, but was a lot cut from the game (including the questions I have above)? Or have I missed some stuff because of not seeing movies? (even if I watch the movies through the main menu, the game crashes after every one - I don't have the patience to view them all and then recover from the crash each time). I welcome any discussion on my unanswered questions and any questions that you feel have not been answered, or perhaps you missed, in the game.

But she does not do anything after I end my convo with her. She says she'll folllow me, then the dialogue options "I want toask some more questions" and "never mind" come up. So I select never mind, and then she just stands there as if she never agreed to follow me. I can run all over the EH but she never moves. Is there a trick to get her to follow you?

I can talk to Mira while inside the Ebon Hawk, reach apoint in the dialogue where I say something about using the force to "listen to life", and Mira says something to the effect of "maybe some day you can teach me". Then I say basically how about now, and she agress to follow me to learn the force, but nothing happens. I am still in dialogue mode where I can ask her questions again, or end the convo. Whenever I end the convo, nothing with Mira happens, she does not become a jedi. Anyone else have this problem? Is it a bug or is there something, an event or point in the quest, that has to occur to actually trigger the jedi training option? I have both Atton and Bao-Dur as Jedi, we are all light-sided.
