  1. I thought all of the large battles were boring as ****.. For a game with a mediocre combat system, fighting constantly for half an hour is not my idea of fun..
  2. In Kotor 1, I stayed neutral up until the point where I *had* to choose.. It is possible, and some of the NPC's actually comment on it, if I memeory serves me correctly.. they say something about having a hard time reading my emotions, or whatever..
  3. I played through the whole game, being a manipulative, lying son of a bitch.. Rarely did I threaten people, and guess what? I had dark side mastery at the end of the game, so.. The things said in this thread aren't really true..
  4. I would have to disagree with alot of people on here saying that if you liked the first game to buy the second game. No, quite the contrary. If you DIDN'T really care for the first game, then yes, buy this one. I say that because the games couldn't be more different in feel and tone. Yes, the game is glitchy and incomplete and yes, it starts off boring and ends horribly. But there's a whole middle section in there that's really fun and engrossing. That is, IF YOU DID NOT LIKE THE FIRST GAME. I can't stress that enough. K2 has aboslutely nothing to do with the first game. And I have to tell you that all of the effort and work you're putting into K1 won't make a lick of difference in K2 regardless of how you end K1. And you're probably enjoying K1 alot because it feels like Star Wars. K2 doesn't feel anything like Star Wars. That's why I said if you didn't like the first game buy this one. Because if you're looking to build on the feeling you're experiencing now with K1, you just won't get it with K2. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game and I personally enjoyed it, but it really does miss the mark. Also, you'll probably see alot of posts on here saying that their game never crashed and that they never experienced any problems. THEY ARE THE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE. Nearly every single website and publication out there that covers videogames has said this game is buggy as hell. So just bear that in mind. So all that being said, I would have to recommend, since it sounds like you're really enjoying K1 alot, to pass on K2. Wait for the inevitable K3, because I have a feeling you can go straight from 1 to 3 without missing a beat because #2 was so incomplete. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What the hell are you talking about? I enjoyed both games equally. And I'm pretty sure that many other people in here did too, considering how much they're talking about Kotor 1 on these forums..
  5. When exactly does that happen? I'm almost at the end with my LS character.. At the Telos attack, to be precise..
  6. hehe, alright then.. No need for me to start over, in that case.. On another note, though, does this imply that making Revan DS is the "right" thing to do? since you don't get any of these "bonuses" for making him light side, I mean..
  7. Since I decided to make Revan a LS character in the beginning of the game, the sith holocron, in the sith academy on Korriban, is destroyed when I blow the door to Uthar's room open.. And since I don't wanna start all over again, just to find out what that holocron says (I've read that the holocron is preserved if you make Revan DS), could anyone tell me?
  8. My first character, a dark side male, was Smoke Some Weed.. Yeah, I'm creative.. My second character, a light side male, is Los Wackos..
  9. My favorite NPC has to be either Atton or Master Vrook.. Atton is funny as hell, and there's something about Vrook too, that makes him likeable.. Can't put my finger on what, though.. Another NPC that *seems* cool, is Mira, but I wouldn't know, since I've only played the game through as a darkside character, and ended up with that lame ass Hanharr (who stayed in the Ebon Hawk for the duration of the game). Well, the worst npc's has to be Hanharr and Darth Nihilus.. There's nothing fun about encountering a muted sith lord..
