  1. The Escaped Crimminals Telos Quest is completable without ever going to the planet surface first. Whether this was intentional or not I dunno. Once you see them in the Corp room, you just go back to Grenn and say when you chased them, they fought, you killed them, - he'll say his bit about that matches their vid records and the quest completes, you get a reward, etc. Going to the planet surface first and then going back to Telos to talk to Grenn sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I've never been able to make it so the thugs actually show up on the planet surface. that aspect of the quest is definitely broken, IMO.
  2. That wasn't your influence mod - that was just Disciple. I can turn him into a Jedi the first time I meet him, without ever leaving that ruined Academy room he starts in.
  3. (spoilers ahead) There's two parts to it - 1st is Disciple and T3, where Di is sending a message to Telos and explains his reasons for wanting secrecy to a watching T3 - T3 shows him a holovid image of...Carth? Someone else from Kotor1? - and Di makes an interesting comment of "Ahh you're the droid I've heard so much about." The 2nd shorter part is where Atton suspiciously confronts Di about the message, wanting to know who the message was going to & accuses him of being a spy etc., while Di's meditating in the cargo hold.
  4. I'm not sure this is actually in the game or not, or if it was partially cut - I don't remember it being the game at any rate. Anyway, this is when you're landing on Nal Shadda, and Atton's giving his "here we are" speeches...and then one of the NPC's briefly refers to Atton's bathing habits. So there's two files here - the only difference between them is in the first one, Handmaiden delivers one insult, and the 2nd one, Disciple is the insulter, with each insult being different. http://crimsonkeep.com/downloads/kotor2sound/not_bathe1.wav (176kb) http://crimsonkeep.com/downloads/kotor2sound/not_bathe2.wav (163kb)
  5. I just use WindowsXp's SoundRecorder. lol So many duplicate little files not always in sequential order...hard to know which ones go with what sometimes.
  6. Kreia's tormenting Disciple cutscene http://crimsonkeep.com/downloads/kotor2sound/kreia_disc1.wav (172kb)
  7. Atton talking to Bao-Dur about the exile cutscene http://crimsonkeep.com/downloads/kotor2sound/atton-bao01.wav
  8. K...I'll go ahead and link to a few. Remember, nothing special about these, just spliced 'em together, that's it. :D The extension says wav but you can rename them to mp3's if you want and it works too. These 2 are the 'Atton/Disciple' cutscenes that occur if your influence is higher w/Di than Atton. http://crimsonkeep.com/downloads/kotor2sound/d-a-part1.wav (390kb) http://crimsonkeep.com/downloads/kotor2sound/d-a-part2.wav (446kb) This one is the 'play pazaak in my head' bit w/Atton - since there's a few different dialogue options I tried to choose a mix that made stand-alone sense...but it's still a little non-sensical if you haven't seen it in the game. http://crimsonkeep.com/downloads/kotor2sou...aak-in-head.wav (320kb) Working on some Disciple ones and then some Bao-Dur ones. Edit - sorry, fixed first link
  9. Some of those can be found here: http://tubertarian.com/kotor2missingcontent.php
  10. So, I've been bored, and have been running through all the dialogue files, putting some together into one file, so I can listen to, say, certain cutscenes without having to play the game. Largely because I got tired of having to click all the individual files for each 'scene'. Nothing special or anything added to them like music, like the great ones already done w/the unused dialogue pieces. And was wondering, mostly for the xboxers out there who I assume can't do this...any interest in them? Sorry if someone already posted something like this...like I said, just bored...heh
  11. If you don't want to play again you can just use the save game editor to alter influence to view the influence-related cutscenes. The Atton/Disciple "I picked up a communication" confrontation one supposedly comes about only if you've triggered the other two first, so definitely influence related, since you have to have more influence w/Disciple to get those 1st two. Edit - my favorite Atton 'romance' cutscene is actually the one w/him and Mira...the 'meditation envy' bit - which you have to be Light side to see, since you won't get Mira otherwise. Argh - 2nd edit - I've gotten that Mira scene when I had max influence w/both Di and Atton, so I don't think it's directly influence related - but it might be indirectly related, like the 3rd Di/Atton one.
  12. Oh gawd, I used to be a horrible caffeine addict. Never seems to bother me much physcially tho - but some people are more sensitive to it than others. My cousin-in-law has pretty severe reactions if she even has one Coke. These days tho I confine myself to 2-3 cans of the dew and 3-4 cans of diet root beer, plus lots of water. And 10 cups of coffee is a lot - well, depending on the size of the cup. heh Coffee still has more caffeine in it than Dew, btw - depending on how it's been brewed, of course.
  13. It's called too much liquid sugar makes my tummy go 'ugh', but I get tired of water and most fruit juices also make my tummy go 'ugh' (I'm extremely acid-sensitive). Diet soda's still have acids, but they don't seem to bother me like fruit juices. Also, diet sodas don't make your teeth feel like they have fuzzy jackets on, and are more thirst-quenching since there's no after-drink sugar coating.. And lastly - at 150-200 calories a can (this is true for for a lot of drinks, not just sodas), even if you're not worried about weight persay, it's not like I need the extra 800-1000 calories a day I'd consume if I drank the sugar sodas. If your average intake in terms of food is about 1500-1800 calories, soda (and other drinks) can boost that up to near 3000 (way more than the average person should probably have, even if you're not on a diet) - with absolutely no value to those calories at all. So I'll avoid that, thanks.
  14. I didn't know any of them were bugged....at least not so you'd notice in gameplay. Maybe there's something technically bugged with them, like dmg numbers or something?
  15. I guess no one has a clue...guess I'll have to wonder forever.... :D Mostly, when he says the line "Will you just die already!" - that sounds soooo familiar voice wise.
  16. Anyone know who it is? I looked in the game credits and they don't list him seperately (not a big enough role I guess). But his voice sounds familiar to me. And on a side note re: voice actors in the game - Greg Ellis in the 3rd season of '24' - funny to see 'Disciple' be a bad guy. I had to re-skim through those episodes on my discs just to check it out.
  17. The sky in my world is an off-white with a rough speckled texture to it...oh wait, that's the ceiling...
  18. I've only found one Knight robe legitly. Usually I'm running around in the Dark Padawan robes the entire game. But actually, I prefer the Padawan or plain Jedi/Dark robes best. I like the way they look better - reminds me of the style of outfit Luke wore in the 1st movie, I guess. The others look like glorified pimpin' velour bath robes to me. :D Tho the Mutaki ones can look all right, on some of the characters.
  19. I'd like a different picture of Disciple in there, since that one they use is terrible....unfortunately if you try to insert a better one from the game, it wouldn't match the others in style... Nice tinkering job tho....looks very nice.
  20. Think he really would? I'm pretty sure Disney would, but I dunno about George. As long as no profit is being made off it.
  21. @ the thread originator.... LOL! Sarcasm is your friend....thanks for the chuckle. I haven't had too much trouble w/the game - a patch would be welcome but not really needed for me...still, that was funny...
  22. I'd like to live for about 300-500 years, but immortal? Nah. Even 1000 would be too many for me. Even if one didn't physically age, there's always gravity, and 1000 years of plastic surgery to fix the sags would get rather annoying. I nominate Bruce Campbell, the actor, and Sam Rami, the director. Evil Dead #4026 coming to a theater near you!
  23. I don't like cofee, so I live on diet Mt. Dew. At least I don't have to go to Starbucks.
  24. Yeah I read that one a little while ago. Fun read, especially his reference to endings and forums....lol
  25. It's definitely quite different for most of the game, and worth playing both sides at least once.
