We played with 8 substitutes, a team that has never played together in a match, and yet we trashed much more then what the end result shows. And Ivan Klasnić scored the only goal, he only underwent a kidney transplant last year, having suffered kidney failure in January 2007, and he's the only player to have played in the big international competition after such an ordeal and he added a goal to that.

My remarks were as a result of elevated emotions and statements of Turkish players about my team...but we don't need to bark now like our next opponents, we'll bite on the pitch And about yesterdays match Poland - Croatia...man I felt sorry for the Polish, we were out there with 8 substitutes on the pitch that have never played a match together and yet we not only defeated them, but virtually humiliated them, they had no idea, only like 5 minutes of structural game, they looked so lost on the pitch I couldn't even gloat because it was so sad...and if our strikes were more efficient it would have ended 3 or 4 goals ahead for us. But all of this made me so happy to see just how many good players a country with 4.3 million people has.

They lost against Germany 2:0, and played 1:1 with Austria. They play today against Croatia which is playing with substitutes because we already ensured the quarterfinals

Vastic is ours Hehehehehe kidding....Austria deserved a draw but it shouldn't have come from that questionable penalty in my opinion although my country now directly qualifies to the quarterfinals.

Although Germany is a good team, my opinion is that they were a bit over-hyped after the game with Poland and we were underestimated because most of the people judged us based on our play against Austria and that was a huge mistake to do. I hope we will advance to the next stage, Eduardo is missed and as a result we are not as good as we can but I know the rest of the guys will do their best and that's the only thing I could hope for and then what happens happens
