I know this is an older topic but i just had a though about the new colours. Maybe the new colours are linked to the prestige classes! Each class has a different colour. You can only get that colour if you chose the class it is related to.

How did it lead to the DS? It never did for me. Infact i always finished the game LS when i did the romance. The romance was harder to complete if you went ds! But I obviously dont know as much as you.

The thing is there arn't going for something completly different! It worked well in K1 and now they are trying to improve on that. What thats totally new do you want them to add? A pie eating contest! A w*nking competition! Tell me what do u want to see?

No it was not intended as a single blade but it was just 2 singles joint together. That is why it continued to work when it got cut in half! A double sabre of the KotOR era would have stopped working alltogether if it were cut in half.
