  1. Concerning the enemy using force powers and defence from them - this game is much more worse then KOTOR 1. In which a lot of Dark Jedi used dark powers. In KOTOR 2 the enemy jedi never used the force, except for couple of final bosses. And they usually used the pretti useless "life leech". So in the new game every force countering power is practicaly useless.
  2. This reminds me of "The last Starfighter" movie. An earth teenager playng a lot on console space fighting games is the last alive starfighter pilot in the galaxy and thus the only being, which can save the galaxy from the evil conqeurors
  3. You "know" Kreia is evil the same way you might "know" that your wife is cheating on you. You can "know" it all you want, but unless you have proof (catching her doing something wrong) you can't call her out on it. Besides, evil or not she helps you regain your connection to the Force, and your character needs all the help he/she can get. Did you even play the first KOTOR? If you did, you'd know that that's perfectly in character for Mandalorians. They don't hold grudges. I assumed it crashed because of the storms seen during that cutscene. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If this is true, then Ebon Hawk must be very sh*tty space ship. Obviously the Sith ships have no problems with the storms.
  4. One very weird moment from the Malakor V and Ebon Hawk: How Ebon Hawk flies? As seen in the cutscene she (I guess being a ship this means Ebon Hawk is "she") has no probelm to land vertically and or to hang in the air like a chopper. Yet it crashed on Malakor V without any reason (enemy fire, damages and such). The only reasonable reason I see is Atton trying to commit suicide.
  5. This seems to be another removed area from the game due to the rushed release. Will be glad if I am mistaken.
  6. Did you ever thought how the Jedi reappeared after KOTOR 2? The only persons which can use the Force are the Exile and ppl from his squad... So all the Jedi we see in Star Wars movies have to be from their bloodline... and Revan's maybe But how then Yoda was born? I don't remember how old was he exactly, but do remember he was old... very old. Will not try to guess how was his parent, because surely there are ppl under 18 :">
  7. There is one power, which is needed just for one quest - "breath control". Actually it doesn't work anymore. In the Onderon Palace there is a room with gas vents - and guess what - my here gets poisoned in the same way, no matter if he uses or not the breath control power. And somethng more - he is even stunned for a few seconds too, although he has stun/paralise immunity.
  8. The blaster deflection without lightsabers is not useless power. Every my character with ranged weapons has it. Iy's not for you main hero, but for the supporting ppl.
  9. I am glad at last ppl posting in this thread started to think instead of mechanicaly repeating "You don't know the Jedi Code" and such... And I agree - this is a game and it cannot be really realistic. But I feel like I was cheated on the moral issue. Remeber Baldur's Gate 2? This was superb game concerning the moral choices you make without trying to make you feel guilty you took the well deserved reward and such... Because I don't mind helping ppl, but after some of the dialogs line I am telling in the game I feel the real ppl will laugh at me "OMG, what a stupid man is this Jedi" And something more - the true evilness is not slaying the population of several planets. This happens on the Earth too (even at the small rate); but this is crazyness, not evilness; The true Evil Lord still needs population to rule. Because if there are no ppl to rule, the is no lordship at all. That's why many ppl here don't like the Sith Lords in the game - because they are no lords at all - they have no one to rule (surely - they had a bunch of sith soldiers/assasins, which came from nowhere), but this is no Lordship - this is just leading a small (in the galaxy measures) band of mercenaries. And this is one of the many points where the gamers don't like the story in KOTOR 2.
  10. Try looking beyond the words into the meanings of the code. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am trying. Even better - I am looking to the members of the Jedi council trying to gent a nexample from them. And what I see - they are pompous, arrogant, untollerant, unforgiving. Or they are more Jedi then the other Jedi and that's why they are allowed to behave in such manner?
  11. I don't see the word "humble" in the Jedi code, neither I see "self-sacrifice". Actually I see "Thereis no emotion" and "There is no passion"
  12. Exactly! Why then the Exile gets LSP when he helps in sudden and impulsive way and gets DSP if he don't help in sudden and impulsive way?
  13. It is very good someone tried to learn the Jedi blah... blah... blah... . The problem is in KOTOR 2 a LS Exile is the only person which have to keep this code. All the Jedi DO NOT keep it. And the Exile is not a Jedi at all. So it is not bound to it. AND: The Jedi council alowed zillions of ppl to die during the Mandalorian War, because they looked to the bigger picture and estimated the concequesnces from the war and such bull****. So it appears it is allowed for a Jedi not to help the needy right on the spot, but to look at the bigger picture instead... Like saving the Galaxy from the Sith Lords and such. Also looking at the bigger picture is getting your rewards because you need the money and the stuff and so on... And quite the opposite - the Jedi which followed Revan and stopped the Mandalorean War become Dark Jedi, simply because they helped the ppl at once and didn't considered the bigger picture as the council did. Why then the Exile gets LSP when helps on the spot, even when the bigger picture becomes worse? And he gets DSP if he acts according to the bigger picture? Like when he gave 5 credits to the beggar? He gets LSP if he gaves 5 credits, but because of it the beggar is robbed and thrashed, so he has no money again and is beaten. If the Exike didn't gave him money the beggar still would have no money, but would remain in god health! So if the Exile acted in the way of the Jedi council, it had to get LSP for NOT GIVING money and DSP for giving money (because the beggar is beaten). So is beaing a Jedi equal to just being stupid? Acting like a dog? Show him a bone and he makes a stance... Beside in both KOTOR 1&2 always someone talks about "corrupted republican senators". Why the hell the Jedi council didn't take any measures against the corupted senators and such? Some of you, guys and gals, are like my mother in law. She never reads and hears the things, which don't correspond to what she likes to be. Of course she always hears and reads what she likes to hear and to see
  14. No, it wasn't the police - you got your car for 40 bucks from the local car dump
  15. Exactly. As I wrote before - I just want to be a normal. Not a mass killer, but not a lamer, which every one can try to kill, can rob, intimidate, insult, and you can only whine and try to "save" every scumbag in the galaxy.
  16. No, if the police has the reason to take my car, it has no right to give it to some policemen to drive it, neither they have any rights of ownership and they (of course) cannot sell it. Who the hell told you the police can sell the cars in detention?
  17. No, it is not. Atris is not the council. She is/was just one of them. And even if she is the council, a Jedi lightsaber is a private thing. It either belongs to the Jedi, or don't belong to anyone else. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wasn't talking about hte Jedi Masters Council, but the judging council. She was on that. You surrendered it to them, and they obviously let her take it. In any event, it wasn't yours any more. They were allowed to give it to anyone they wanted. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No. Exactly in the event you put in in the stone. You didn't give it to the council. If someone revokes my driving license and I leave my car no matter where, it doesn't mean the guy who revoked my driving license has the right to take my car. And besides - no one nowhere tells the council gave the saber to the Atris. Even Atris says "I took it..." No one takes my lightsaber and lives to use it!
  18. No, it is not. Atris is not the council. She is/was just one of them. And even if she is the council, a Jedi lightsaber is a private thing. It either belongs to the Jedi, or don't belong to anyone else.
  19. They don't seek to harm you. They seek to cut you off from the Force so you can't destroy it. The Light Side Exile agrees with the Masters' actions, and makes this sacrifice so he doesn't end up killing everyone through his force bonds. Why they decided they have this right? Where is the compassion and the other blah... blah... Why I must try to save the assassins and other scum, but have to be cut from the force, no matter I did only good things? Did they give me the force? No? So they have no right to take it from me. Your actions in attacking the mercenaries and freeing him are the reason the mercenaries attack the settlement, endangering all those people. Vrock is annoyed that you didn't consider the consequences of your actions. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wrong. The mercenaries didn't came on Dantoine for sightseeing. They came to attack the settlement. And besides, even he is right, where is the Jedi code? The anger leads to the Dark Side. How a member of Jedi counsel can be so rude, impolite and blah... blah... blah...?
  20. No, you don't. The exact quote is "Some Pretentious Schutta stole my ship"... As you can be seen in the cutscene at the very ariving at Telos, one of the handmaidens stole the ship. But tell her you came here "I came here just to get my ship back" and "You stole my lightsaber" and you will see.
  21. Oh, yes! Just be mean to Atris at the first meeting (she deserves a spanking, not just being mean) and you get DSP ASAP! About Jedi code - did the Jedi helped me years ago? No, they exiled me... Did they tried to help me when I gathered them on Dantoine? Oh, no - they tried to harm me... Was the Jadi Master from Dantoine (who cares about his name) nice and polite to me, when I saved him from the force cage? No, he acused me I am ruining his efforts against the mercenaries... Was Atris nice and polite and forgiving when she met me for the first time? No, she was mean and rude and arrogant, she stole my ship and my lightsaber (I lost the right to own it, but I didn't give it to Atris or anyone else - I put it in the stone)...
  22. Well, I was exiled from the Jedi, after all. And the Jedi didn't save the galaxy in the first KOTOR, and neither of them did anything in this KOTOR, quite the opposite. And in the first KOTOR I get DSP for fulfilling an official job - to get rid of a criminal (the arena-figter on the first planet). About the Jedi helping the ppl - how you are supposed to save the galaxy if you don't get resourses? I don't want to be a dark side character and don't want to slay a whole planet "just for fun", but I just want to be normal and to get what I deserved, especially when I have to use those resourses to save the planet/galaxy... blah... blah... Most LST/DSP dialogs are an examples of stupidity. Usually you have 3 options: 1. I don't want my well deserved reward. I spent my money and I risked my life just for a pleasure, and I will save the galaxy bare-handed! - to get LSP 2. Thank you! - to get nothing!!! 3. Prepare to die, scum! - to get DSP No one reasonable person, either Sith or not, will not kill just for the sake of it - because there will be no galaxy left to rule, if you kill everyone. And besides even if you are the darkest Sith Lord, you still have to have followers which to execute your orders. And killing/punishing them for nothing will left you alone. So no one kills for nothng - except in the bad Holywood movies.
  23. It's very stupid - when someone telling me - go risk you life to get something for me... You risk your life, you get the needed thing... And you have to forfeit your well deserved reward to get LSP? WHY??? And if you tell - "It was more hard then you told me" you get DSP! WTF! And when someone talks arrogantly and is mean to you, you just have to smile and to talk bull****, or you get DSP again? Like the stupid aroggant b*tch Atris and her useless cloned handmaidens? Why the hell I cannot just tell you - "You stole my ship, I want it back!" and "This is my lightsaber! You don't have a right to own it" (which is absolutely true). Why I get DSP if I tell this? Why your hero (which has a galaxy to save after all) cann't be just be a normal guy? And why it is considered bad if someone tries to kill him and he defends himself instead telling bull****s "I don't want to fight you" And why the hell you must try to "save" every criminal in the galaxy? He attacks me and when I defeat him, I must tell: You still can be saved! to get LSP. Its more then stupid - quite the opposite - I must get LSP if I rid the galaxy from him!
  24. How about HK-47? I am sure it gave me stats boosts too, but the stupd game tell me something stupid instead telling me what I actually gained; so I am not sure, because some of the gains may be from other insfluences.
  25. You gain influence with Mira when you talk to Aida on Onderon about the captains. You don't need to agree with Aida and don't need to do anything about the captains; just agree with Mira "more credits will be welcome indeed". At the same place you can gain influence with Mandalore too, if you tell him "It is good to show general Baklu we can be usefull" or such. Also you can gain influence with Mandalore by rising a street riot and telling him the same thing. Although getting influence with Mandalore is probably the most useless thing in the game. And I think you can gain influence with Mira if you sell the starport visa to the woman in the cantina. Mira says something like "More credits is good thing"... You can gain influence with HK-47 by killing Akkere on Dantoine and by killing mercenaries outside Crystal Cave, if you tell them "Die, scum!"
