  1. Traded my game in last friday. Finally gave up hoping for LA/Obsidian to sort themselves out.
  2. might aswell download to see if it fixed anything.
  3. you guys might aswell just try and sell KOTOR2 before its worth nothing. Or just throw it in the bin.
  4. new patch and still no bloom effects so everything still looks like ****. woohoo!
  5. When the hell are the bloom effects going to work?
  6. Just put my pennys worth in here. I bought Brothers In Arms this week which has full support from its developer plus ubisoft. If you check the Gearbox forums you can see posts from different staff members about whats coming in the next patch and when it'll be in QA and the proposed release date. They keep the fans upto date with the status of the game and what'll happen in the future. Sure makes a difference when I look at how shoddy LA are treating its customers. But then again what am I to expect from them as they have been on a steady decline for a long time now.
  7. Thanks for the info Feargus. So basically we're just waiting for Lucasarts to get it through QA and release it to joe public? Do you also happen to know if the problems that people are having with KOTOR2 if they have ATI cards has been fixed at all? or is this a problem ATI will have to fix?
  8. I have other games that use opengl, yet the run perfectly fine for me. Yet the KOTOR engine has to be one of the worst i've seen in a fair while.
  9. we're heading upto the 1 month and 2 week mark. *sigh* I would try and get rid of KOTOR2 but who would want to buy it now?!
  10. No need to put that line in the .ini if you put the OGL driver in the KOTOR folder. Both the 4.11 and 4.2 DLLs work fine, apparently 4.11 is a bit more stable but 4.2 is the only driver that gives bloom effects on ATI cards. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've noticed no bloom effects using the 4.2 dll in the KOTOR2 folder. *shakes head* I also hope we get bloom effects once this patch it out.
  11. at least most people could play bloodlines compared to KOTOR2
  12. agreed. I'm actually starting to lose my patience with Lucasarts and Obsidian over this whole debacle. A bit more communication to the fans would be nice aswell. Some of the fanboys may moan at me but it would really calm down the large amount of people currently moaning if Obsidian posted a current list of the fixes in the patch so far just to put our minds at rest. I just think communication to the customers who have yet to be able to play the game has been really poor. But I shall get back to looking at my KOTOR case and try and get some enjoyment from the artwork.
  13. is it just going to be a bug fix patch? or is it also going to add some content to KOTOR2? like a patch for the first game did,
  14. been about a month since i bought KOTOR2. *looks at kotor2 case* maybe one day i'll get to play you.
