Did that with Mira on Nar Shadaa. I guess the real question is, do you need to actually be level 15 to get a prestige class? Or do you just need the xp equivalent of level 15? If the latter, I imagine it would still be harder to do in KOTOR II than I because you don't have someone to do all the dirty work for you (until the Ravager, and then you don't want to level Atton either). Still, it would be an interesting challenge.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Past, Present, and Future

Oi... I feel filthy having posted my opinions in the god forsaken thread. There are proper codes of conduct anywhere you go. I doubt any of you have trouble abiding by them in the real world, why do you all insist on polluting internet forums? -
FULL DISCLOSURE: Past, Present, and Future

But that's the beuaty of it. The Exile was no longer a part of the force. He was outside of it. It cannot directly control him, and so he is free of destiny. My brain seems to have farted flat, so I can't remember any quotes to back me up on this, so I'll have to wait until I have time to replay a few parts. Yeah... Dinobot is awesome. Between 'Code of Hero' and 'Coming of the Fuzors Pt. 2' I am 100% in love, and if he were real... oh jeebus. You get plenty of cool points for knowing the character/show. As for love: I don't think it was discouraged until the Great Hyperspace War, but I could be wrong about that, and I do not believe it was ever forbidden. Even if the New Jedi Order (er... Middle Jedi Order?) were re-created by the Exile's pupils there is still plenty of time for that caution about love to be re-instated. Edit: As for suggestions about KOTOR III, LA boards would be the best bet. We still don't know who the developer will be. -

Heh... heh heh. You miss the "Originally posted on GameFaqs" above every post? Or were you being ironic? To Kunai: I agree with most of what you have down so far, and I realize you aren't done yet. However, being a fan of Kreia, I don't think you have her down right at all. Vengeance, the Force, Scion, Nihlus, Jedi Council... They don't matter. All she ever wanted was knowledge, and to make the Exile free of destiny. -
Nihlus was the Master of Hunger, not Hate.
-
1. His only motivation is his hunger, which can never be satisfied. He will kill all life in the Galaxy if not stopped. The Exile is his kryptonite, though. I don't feel like going into it. 2. He was connected to almost every Republic soldier on Malachor V (he had fought with them, and thus, formed bonds). He gave the command to activate the Mass Shadow Generator, killing all of those soldiers. In effect, the Exile felt the pain of being crushed to death thousands of times. He felt this through the force, and so he ripped himself from the force in order to stay alive. It was a self-defence mechanism. 3. He does not want to kill her. He is the master of Pain. He is like an abused child. He hates her, he knows she will use him, and yet he constantly seeks her aproval. 4. He killed scores of Jedi, and helped turn scores more to the dark side. You didn't get influence with him? 5. Yep. 6. Your guess is as good as mine. But whatever they turn out to be, I bet they'll be badass. 7. No idea. 8. The council was sitting idly by as countless civilians were slughtered by the Mandalorians. The Exile went to fight them, and to save countless civilian lives. 9. For the male, you get to "see" Visas and "spar" with the Hand-Maiden. The female gets to "play pazaak" with Atton. 10. No, unless I really missed something (possible). Bonus Question: Not that I can recall, but I'm willing to bet there was one in KOTOR I.

Well, on the cool droids list, Hk is probably in the top ten, which is pretty good. Cool Droids List: 1. Dinobot 2. Marvin 3. Terantulus 4. Megatron 5. Rat-Trap 6. Rhinox 7. HK-47 Yeah, see, top ten.

Well, this is simpler than it sounds. Get Mira and prestige class. Then start doing dark side things, enough so that you can regen in the cave. Then do however much Hsiss you want. Finally, go to the Kreia encounter (in the cave) and use the alignment exploit (gamefaqs has details, I believe) to get all your light side stuff back. That would probably work.

I have a bad feeling about this.

A more Literal Look at it (Big Spoilers.)

How much charisma did you have?
-
But what happened to Ben? He got a little wobbily for a minute or two, maybe a headache? I just don't see that as even in the same game as what the Exile experienced...
-
She says that's what she's doing right before she does it. Then, if you click on the bodies it says they aren't really dead, just hollow, or something to that effect. Where did she get the power? Ancient Sith teachings? Ancient Jedi teachings? She probably knew more about the force than anyone since.
-
His severing his connection with the force had nothing to do with 'dark energy' though. The pain of dieing thousands of deaths should have killed him, but he severed himself from the force so that he could not feel them anymore. This dark energy theory, if it is what happened (I was under the impression that Revan returned to Malachor after the extreme-gravity effects wore off) would have hit the Exile after he was outside of the force, having no effect on him.
-
No one special, if that's what you're thinking. Just one of thousands of Jedi who died in the war. As for him being on Taris... If someone could enlighten me, that would be great. I honestly have no idea.
-
Okay, we're getting somewhere. That's possible. But what I'm saying is that none of the other Jedi felt anything similar to what the Exile felt. Everyone who experienced what happened on Malachor died. The Exile felt it thousands of times, he should have died. If other Jedi sense all of the death, it isn't the same thing. They did not actually feel the pain of dieing a thousand deaths. The Exile did. That's all I was debating.
-
She didn't kill them, she showed them the world through the Exile's eyes. They heard the thousands of screams just as he heard them. They had to cut themselves from the force, only they became vegetables... Which is kind of weird.

Zilod, there was no option for the people on Malachor V. It was a gravity well, the pressure was enormous. The pull was strong enough to yank ships out of orbit, and quickly, or they would have been able to activate their engines. No one on Malachor turned to the dark side (save Nihlus, I suppose) because they all died. It was 'cleaning house', as Phantom has said, because no truly loyal troops were sent to that battle. They were involved in different places, namely fighting Mandalore's fleet (not 100% on that, though). It doesn't matter that no one says 'there were no survivors' because it is a given, the gravity crushed the planet, nothing could survive. The Exile was not on the surface, Dur was not on the surface, they were not in orbit. The Exile received the order from Revan, he gave it to Dur, and Dur acted it out. Countless people die, the Exile dies 1000s of times over and cuts himself from the force. Other than that, you have it all right. Revan fought a war of conversion. The entire war was converting his men into exactly what they were fighting to defeat. Instead of defending weakness, they detested it. Revan created Malachor V with all of the people who were slaughtered there. It was not all-corrupting before that.

Instant Gratification: Bragging about beating the game in 15 hours. Then complaining about having totally missed the plot. "This game sucks! Too short! No plot! Go to hell Obsidian!" Gotta love 'em.
-
"Understandable, considering I was the only one." Dur is pretty darn mysterious, and we don't know where he "triggered" it from, he may have been safe a lightyear away for all we know.
-
Atton was sent to kill a certain Jedi. She showed him the force that existed inside of him, and told him what Revan would do to him if it were discovered. So he killed her and ran, classic Atton for ya. Don't remember her back-story, but I thought her daddy was a Jedi... Or maybe she's just like Bao-Dur, force sensitive and chance (or whatever) brought her together with the Exile.
-
Er... On second thought, I think one epic off-topic discussion is enough for one thread, let's save our theories on Nihlus and Nihlus\=Exile for another thread, as I know we're going to disagree. Maybe?
-
Read: "living thing". Nihlus died on Malachor, what brought him back, I'm not sure.
-
Ah, yes, "which no jedi could walk away from... save one." I read quickly the first time, sorry. Still, it was the gravity which killed them, not the screams. The screams were caused by those dieing Jedi, it would not make sense for them to die of the same thing. And I did alude to the part about Revan. The atrocity at Malachor is not what converted all of those people. Afterwards, Revan descended back down to Malachor, where the deaths of so many could simply over-come the will of any Jedi who wished to resist them. That is how he converted the Jedi he fought later (the ones Atton captured). But, you have to accept it, the gravity was strong enough to rip ships capable of inter-stellar travel right out of orbit, no living thing could have survived that.
-
This is a paraphrased version of what she says. The Mandalorian Wars was a series of atrocities which masked a war of conversion which culminated in one final atrocity which NO MAN{Jedi, rather} walked away from SAVE ONE. That is what she said. No person survived Malachor, no one there turned to the darkside because they all died, save the Exile. Now, some interpretation is required, as I do not believe the Exile was actually on Malachor, or the gravity would have crushed him as well. But, he felt the crushing gravity of Malachor 1000s of times over, and that is how it makes sense. Same conversation, talk to the council, they will tell you what happened on Malachor. The conversion to the dark side happened throughout the war, Malachor was it's climax. It is possible (HK dialogue? I don't recall) that Revan knew what would happen there (he did, as he planned to use it to convert others later) and sent those he did not trust to that battle. But, none felt what the Exile felt, everyone on the planet died. {}-edit
