  1. on my first playthrough, I set revan as a DS female and got these: * there's no "admiral carth" when you leave Telos, just a generic Republic admiral * when you get enough influence with T3 to unlock the hologram, Carth talks about trying to save Revan, even though he knows it's a dumb idea, but he's got to try. Obviously, this means he must've given T3 his mission (to find someone to aid Revan) before he was killed on the star forge. * if you open the door in the Korriban academy (with the Thorium charges), the holocron is Bastila talking about leaving Korriban to search for Revan (I haven't finished my second playthrough so I don't know if this is the case for LS/male/etc players) * there's no carth/bastila conversation (I didn't even know there was one )
  2. I noticed on my first playthrough that if you talk to G0T0 about Vogga (he warns you not to deal with Vogga, as it'll weaken the republic: you get influence with G0T0 if you say you'll consider his advice), you CAN'T finish the New Fuel Source quest. I only got the "I notice G0T0 isn't with you" dialogue, and the only reply was something like "you're not as funny as you think". The only way I could complete New Fuel Source was to talk to Vogga immediately after I blew up G0T0's yacht and talk to the Jedi Master, where I got the "He's not with me but will not bother you any more" dialogue option. Same here. Yeah, i could only finish the quest by [intimidate]-ing the Exchange Thugs, then saying "no, you wanted a fight, you got it", and then taking the DS points. Sometimes, though, the "You've cleared a path for Lootra's wife" note never shows up and I couldn't free her from the Refugee Sector. It seems to be a bug based on your location once the battle's done. When you sheathe your lightsaber(s), that triggers the end of combat and you can talk to people; sometimes the "You've cleared a path" note showed up while I was running back to Lootra's wife, but sometimes it'd only show up if I stayed near the corpses of the Exchange Thugs after I killed them.
  3. I only managed to complete it on the second time through. Here's how I did it: I got the information from the aliens about contacting Vogga. Then, before you do the dancing for vogga/vogga's hoard quest, you have to go to his doorman and ask to speak to vogga (it's the third dialogue option, if I remember correctly). The doorman will ask you why he should let you in - you say you want to talk to Vogga about Goto. The doorman will let you in, and you talk to Vogga about removing Goto in exchange for sending fuel to Telos. Now you can do the dancing quest and rob him blind. It's not any different than if you get the quest via the "dancing for vogga" route. All you get is an extra 50exp and the finished quest note (it's something like "you managed to contact Vogga, and have offered to remove Goto"). [edit] I was thinking of something else, sorry about that.
  4. I updated the page to reflect some notes by Othello and Shapeshifter. I'll add Aurora's additional dialogue in a minute
  5. Mind trick looked like a pretty useless power. If I'm gonna mind trick an enemy I might as well kill 'em, I says. Throw lightsaber's eclipsed by almost every other offensive power, if you ask me.
  6. Aurora - I dunno if it was missed in the original thread with the flood of posts, but I tried to compile all the missing dialogs/cutscenes here: http://tubertarian.com/kotor2missingcontent.php If you like the organization I could just take emails from whoever finds new cutscenes and update the page as necessary.
  7. the problem is that you only get those dialogues if you build up enough influence with bao-dur, which means doing Good, Light-Sided Things. (for example, giving the open visa to the family on Onderon, saving the stranded Mandalorian on Dxun, allowing Bao-Dur to fix various ships/items on sidequests then complimenting him, etc.) Once or twice I gained influence with him by randomly murdering innocents (like the Czerka prospector in the Telos military installation), but for the most part you can't be wholly evil and gain influence with him.
  8. I got it for my male DS sentinel/sith lord - right afterward bao-dur talked with my character about the fight above Malachor V, when the mass shadow generator was used. I assumed they were linked scenes, but perhaps not.
  9. I never got that dialogue in game - although the "whadda ya mean pazaak - what, again?" (003ATTT3002.wav) clip plays when you suggest the Handmaiden can pass the time playing Pazaak with Atton. That line makes a lot more sense now, actually
  10. sure, no problem. I think I'm just about done (well, for the stuff that's been posted so far). (here's the link again, in case anyone missed it: http://tubertarian.com/kotor2missingcontent.php )
  11. well, it's a start: http://tubertarian.com/kotor2missingcontent.php I'll try and have all the dialogue/credits finished tonight.
  12. If it's cool with everyone, I could just whip up a webpage with all the cut dialogue posted so far and just update it as people find more stuff.
  13. sorry, I just ran out of energy after thumbing through the thread a couple times. I didn't want to leech off your bandwidth when I posted on other forums. I'll edit the thread and give you props - whoever else mixed those together can PM me and I'll add your names too
  14. I compiled most of them over on this thread at sharkyforums.com, and mirrored the sound clips people made: http://sharkyforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=262063 p.s. - thanks, Aurora, for finding this stuff
