  1. To be honest I really liked him as well, the master/minion conversations in Hordes of the Underdark were hillarious. It's just fun to jump on the bandwagon sometimes .
  2. Every couple of years I install all of the Baldur's Gate saga ('The' BG saga that is) and I can pretty much play them for 2-3 months solid. You're right that eventually the combat all starts to feel a bit familiar but personally I find that makes the games quite relaxing for me. I still try new classes and npc combos and that seems to be enough variation to keep me interested. The only thing that ever does give me pause are the annoying little side-quest bugs such as the Jaheira romance breaker. I haven't ever tried the games with mods installed though so thank you guys and girls for mentioning them, I'll have to give them a try soon.
  3. Hidden & Dangerous 2 is a tactical fps similar to the early rainbow 6 series and just as fun. Set during WW2 you pick four SAS soldiers and equip them with whatever you desire from a huge list of weapons and equipment. This has to last them for the whole campaign (there are about 4-5). You can also take anything the enemy germans had on them when they were killed. The planning phase is accessed during the mission rather than before it, allowing you to make alterations to your plan on the fly. Most missions take place outdoors, so sniper rifles are a very valid choice and see a lot of action. H&D 2 had some really fantastic multiplayer maps for sniping and there is still a good sized community who play it. H&D1 is pretty old now but it can be downloaded for free at file planet, it may be a pain to get working on newer machines. edited for clarity ----- Hurlshot is absolutly right about BF2 by the way.
  4. Baldur's Gate 2 Final Fantasy VII Rainbow Six: Raven Shield Unreal Tournament Half-Life X-Com: UFO - Enemy Unknown Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War - Soulstorm Suikoden Silent Hill 2 5 days a stranger
  5. Nobody ever appreciates the crap that QA people have to put up with on a daily basis. Giovanni and the tree definitely deserve a raise
  6. Don't make promises you've no intention of keeping. I've been hurt before :'( The squats sounded pretty fun. Powerful but slow/stationary weaponry back up by fast attack vehicles like bikes and cars. Their niche has been filled by other races now but on a personal level (and yeah fair enough if you don't agree) I'd like them brought back for the sake of nostalgia.
  7. Dude. Joke. But it would be nice if GW would re-release them. Fluff be damned, it just doesn't feel like warhammer without dwarves.
  8. It sounds like dow2 is going for a more authentic table-top feeling. I love that we'll be able to equip commanders and squads with wargear now :D
  9. According to the latest 'pc gamer uk' podcast, CD Projekt are also having all of the dialogue re-recorded. I don't know if that's a feature that will be included immediately in the enhanced version but if not it will be in a patch at some point.
  10. Blood Bowl looks like it could be really fun. Maybe also a nice fallback for the Obsidian staff if the soccer team doesn't work out? http://news.filefront.com/blood-bowl-now-i...een-everything/
  11. Have Wizards of the Coast and Atari fallen out or something?
  12. Why don't you post anymore, Jinxie? :(

  13. Try using suppress before you go. I think someone also said that resting repeatedly in areas with friendly spirits would make your craving go down whilst eventually adding to you spirit level. If neither of those work then you might have to consider using the console commands http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/neverwintern...ayer/hints.html .
