Stephen R started following My notes so far
-
To start off I want to say that Grounded has been my favorite game for a few years now and I am so excited that we all get to continue the journey. A huge thank you to the creators! I've been taking notes about everything that comes to mind as I've been playing since release. This includes bugs (not the kind we want) and things I'd love to see added to the game. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought of some of these additions, or who has experienced these issues. So I would like to apologize for any potential redundancy. I also know that there are plenty of addition to come and some of the things I bring up may already be in the works. I'll start with some of the issues that I have experienced I get stuck in my lean-to for a second or two upon respawning Clovers slip into the ground There's a scorpion trapped in the trunk of the oak tree (north side) now it's a cocroach Weed stems and grass still get stuck on other blades of grass and other obsicals, as they did in the first game. It would be more convenient for them to fall to the ground without obstruction I have two ant buggies, when one dies it sometimes locks or erases the other buggie Bug attacks cut down grass Those are the major issues I have encountered. Now on to a lighter note the things I think would be fun to add. Adding a slide ability would be fun. I think it would work well through holding down the button for dashing. It would make traversing the yard without a buggie a lot easier, especially if it's a continuous slide on a decline Being able to use omnitech chest after they're emptied would be convenient A Compass at the top of the screen would be nice to know which direction you're facing The option to customize armor so that it can look like any other armor, doesn't change the effects just the appearance. I like the look of one but I want the abilities of the one that applies to my build. Including the option to have armor invisible so that the character can roam the park in their starter outfit. Bugs get locked in the sleeping position and slide across the map, like they did in the first one. I'm not bringing this up to fix it, I'm mentioning this because I want you to NOT fix it. It reminds me of the first game and it makes me laugh every time! Petting a buggie should speed up the buggies healing It would be convenient to be able to peep while riding a buggie I would love to be able to harvest animal bones !!!Jumping spiders!!! Half stairs cut vitically A quick select for changing mutation is needed (if there is this option and I just haven't found it, I apologize) Dual wield weapon ideas: Sais Tomahawk and dagger Dual axes Dagger and sicle connected by chain for more range Sword styles I'd like to see: Gladius wakizashi Kukri Claymore Khopesh These are all the main things I wanted to bring up having played the game non stop since release. I hope a lot of you agree with some of the addition, cause I would love for them to be added. And in case you missed it, jumping spiders!! Rideable jumping spiders!! That's all from me for now! I hope everyone is having just as much fun as I am!

Transportible Storage
MsFenix009 replied to OutOfTouch's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
It would be so cool to have ants create an ant colony supply chain between multiple bases on the map! Like if you had one main base and the smaller outposts around the map to unload resources and stock backup on supplies without having to go back to your main base. Or pneumatic tubes for resources would be cool too. -

Miss how to Change Point of View (Xbox)
Raven Scar replied to beneven12's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
I get what you're saying and yes it would be nice to have a console hotkey for switching pov, but you can just pause the game and switch it that way, press start, press x, simple really but seems like its a very ignored feature -
technology Host Swapping / Sharing
MsFenix009 replied to islesofurth's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
Yes, please! If the host leaves, the role of host rolls to the next player who joined. -
My husband and I have a shared hosted save for our Xbox Series X that has worked fine for both of us all week, taking turns hosting depending on who was off work first, but suddenly today it would not load for him. When he tried Hosting > Continue the save, it crashed the whole game and returned him to the Xbox home page. It loaded fine for me when I tried hosting it; he could join me, but when I stopped hosting and he tried again, it failed. We tried all sorts of things from his Xbox - deleting the saves, deleting and reloading the game, letting it resync the cloud data, but nothing was working. However, I noticed that he had Auto Saves set to 5, where mine was set to 3. So, I had him change the Options > Auto Save > Auto Save = 0 from the main menu before loading the game, and the game loaded just fine. Once he was in, he changed the Auto Saves back to 3. He's off adventuring again, while I have to go back to work lol. We wanted to share this in case anyone else has this issue. I don't know if it's a conflict between who hosted last and the number of auto saves, but setting it to 0 and then relaunching seems to have fixed his issue.

Bugs and Feedback consolidated list
TwigtheBard posted a topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
I just started playing on Xbox and I am thrilled with the game. It’s everything I was hoping Grounded 2 would be. We are playing multiplayer, and have about 8 or so hours into the game so far, so I wanted to provide a list of bugs and general feedback in hopes that some of these can be address as the game moves through early access. Bugs 1. At the very beginning of the game Willow and Hoopes spawned in in the same chair. Pete was separate. 2. Bodies of water are basically not rendering. It is blocky/ pixelated and does not look like water. It is also too shiny, and bugs at a certain distance from the player will walk on water. 3. Bugs are frequently getting stuck on each other/ each other’s movement paths and on plants and other items. (Ex. Crickets, There is a snail that has been stuck on the same rock the whole time, a Ladybug stuck on a dead body) 4. Bugs will hit us or us hit them and the hit will not cause damage, even though it should have. 5. Bugs are not dropping loot every time (Mites especially), or they disappear entirely on death. 6. The ‘Pet’ animation for Red Ant Buggy is glitchy and either does not trigger or triggers very slow, and will trigger sometimes not even facing Buggy, leaving the teen to pet the air. ‘Follow’ Animation is also very slow and Buggy sometimes does not follow well enough. 7. Bug summoning- not consistent. Bugs will end up in another players summon bar even after that player has been actively riding the bug for a while. 8. Building is not working consistently or otherwise is super glitchy. Super build is hit or miss, and if it does work it has lag. Naming boxes and turning builds is also inconsistent. 9. Inventory select is super slow/ glitchy and sometimes it will jump multiple rows even if using the d-pad. Especially in the campfire. 10. When digging up grubs, a popup says “x to attack” but really you have to use right trigger like normal. It does this for several other actions too, where the button it says to hit is x but it’s actually trigger. (I’m sure the button prompts are different on PC, but the labels are likely still incorrect) 11. Cooking on the campfire won’t allow selection of items, is over all very glitchy. 12. Water storage is not updating for all players, says its empty even though its full. In the same vein, canteen does not consistently pick up water and some droplets can’t be interacted with. A specific example is the droplet stuck on bottom of pipe above ranger station right outside of the food cart can’t be picked up. 13. SO MANY PHANTOM BACKPACKS THAT WE CANNOT GET TOO. They fall into the ground and are rendering at like 60 or so feet away and we can’t get to/ interact with them to pick them back up. So now we have a bunch of lost loot and backpack icons scattered across the map. One backpack magically rose out of the ground at home, but it sank back down before we could grab it. 14. Getting stuck on Pixels (this tends to happen more once the game has been open for a few hours and is usually fixed with a reboot of the game.) Consistently getting stuck on a pixel near the buried treasure under the apple pieces. 15. Typo in text of dialog at one of the field station convos. It says “she hacked out propriety material” but it should be “our” 16. After a few hours of play/ if a player leaves and others stay in the game, the plants and bugs will stutter in and out, rendering and unrendering. Grass can’t be interacted with when this happens. It is only fixed by the host leaving the game and rebooting the whole thing. Feedback 1. I think there are too many aggressive bugs, and not in the places they should be. In Grounded, there were pockets of aggressive bugs (mosquitoes by the water, larva in the mud, mites in the dry grass, spiders by undisturbed items, ext.) but that convention seems to have gone out the window. There are so many spiders, scorpions and mites that it feels like you can’t even take a second to explore or enjoy the world of the game before you are accosted by another wave. It also makes it tiring when you are also dealing with the ORC waves, because there is basically no time to have a moment of piece before going back into surviving. 2. On top of there being too many bugs, the bugs are weirdly scaled in damage. Ladybugs (which were difficult in early game in Grounded) are now pretty easy for three people. On the flip side, my team of 3 still has not successfully killed a roach nymph, and only received parts from one after it ended up in a bug war with a bombardier beetle, 3 ladybugs, a larva, and a mosquito, that lasted for over 5 minutes. 3. The bug aggro radius is also too large. We have had scorpions and spiders chase us half way across the map, aggroing more spiders along the way, to the point that we couldn’t survive it and had to reload the game. 4. Sliding items do not match correct physics. Specifically, the clover. Once we cut down a clover we have to chase it because it will slide incredibly far – even uphill - and just keep sliding, and at least one of the three leaves will slide into the ground. 5. I wish there was a way that a player could keep the buggy that they have assigned when they next log in. Because the game gets glitchy, we have had to log out and log back occasionally to reset the game, but if we are out in the middle of nowhere, the buggys do not come back to the summon bar and do not stay with their player, so then that player is stuck in the middle of nowhere. There should be a way to keep the bug to the player as long as it is not currently in use by someone else. 6. The canteen ‘use’ button is the same button as ‘attack’, so sometimes we drink water when we are trying to hit an enemy. 7. As an aside, I would really kill for a hotbar on buggy, or at least, the ability to eat/ adjust gear while sitting. Getting off and back on buggy to do anything is kind of tiring, especially when it feels like the only safe place is on buggy’s back with all the bugs. -
Will Moore started following Grass not growing back
-
So I have heard of no one else having this issue so far, but I’m on the Xbox series s and after I have cut the grass down it has never regrown since I started the game and I’m at day 45 at the moment. Has this happened to anyone else?

Grounded 2 Feedback
luigimariotime replied to apoisonedgift's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
From what I played on grounded 2 the game was great and enjoyable. However, the Multiplayer system needs to DEFINITELY be fixed. A friend and I created a shared world and it was fine the first day. But the next day however, it crashed and said my friend no longer had access to the world that HE created, but only I did. Then the next day it crashed again and said I no longer had access to the world, and we had to copy the save and play on that world, and it once again crashed. The game is great but PLEASE obsidian fix the multiplayer issues, we lost about 9 hours of progress on that world that we can no longer access because it crashed. I should also mention that the first crash happened after the update, which is what caused him to lose access to his own world. Other than that I haven't had any issues besides the bugs, and only multiplayer has had problems so far. -
The All Things Political Topic - What's Going On...?
rjshae replied to Lexx's topic in Way Off-Topic
I present to you, the very first meeting of this administration's economic team: Et voilà, the plan for world-crushing tariffs is born. -
I know there will probably be an update to make tamed ants stronger, but i wanted to propose the idea of ant armor. that way players in the early game can make their ants a bit stronger to deal with spiders and larva, which do a lot of damage to the ant soldiers. the armor would be like the armor our character wears, taking on certain traits from the bug or creatures used to make the armor, allowing an ant mount to be a really good swimmer, jump super high, or able to inflict poison damage.

Can’t Get Away from Scorpion
Zedrik replied to Don_Juan_Pond's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
This happened to me, too, except the scorpion just showed up one day before I even started to explore anything, then it absolutely refused to go away, following me everywhere I had to cheese it onto the leaf above the ranger station door and shoot it to death with arrows -
I really hope this gets worked out but ever since Grounded 1, shared world save files just dont work for my friend group. We all have cross-platform enabled, we've all been added to the shared save, but whenever we go to load the shared save, if we aren't the creator of the world, the only save available is an extremely outdated one. We cant access any of the recent auto saves, the shared world save has never been changed to a standard save, yet the only one we can ever access is one of the earlier saves. I shouldn't say can't access, as much as the issue is we can't even see those saves. I was really hoping this issue would have been worked out by now, considering how big of a deal the developers make of this functionality but it just does not work for us period. Please for the love of God fix it. We should not have to convert it to a normal save and re convert to shared everytime we want to get off just to update the file.

Map feels generic and bland
Zedrik replied to Rafał Dudek's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
The first game started out way more bland than this one did -

Checked the network connection and everything is running fine. Turned cross play on and off. Also tried using a wired and wireless connection. we have another Xbox and it runs multiplayer correctly and all of the network/multiplayer settings are the same. Pls help
