  2. To stay where nobody has stayed before...
  3. I've encountered a bug where the O.R.C. bees by the berry stash won't spawn in - they killed me once and then when I went back they're not there. Tried restarting/reloading, no bees so I can't move on in the story. Seen a comment from someone saying they had a similar issue but they defeated the bees, but the quest won't complete. Can't move on now
  4. I've had this except I didn't defeat the bees, they killed me and then weren't there when I respawned and now I can't complete the quest...
  5. Super excited to start back up me and the gangs empire but I did notice a few things. Currently when you are moving if you use the hot pouch it forces you to stand still while you choose even though it uses a different joystick. This unfortunately causes a lot of issues when I’m combat or when running away because it just invites damage. Another thing I noticed when setting up our base is that you now need to hold B to delete blueprints that haven’t been built. This unfortunately makes it difficult to delete blueprints that you can only reach by jumping because you don’t have enough time to hold B to delete. Previously you could just press B for deleting blueprints and hold B for items you have already built to prevent accidental loss of resources. One other small yet funny thing I noticed is that when equipping the grub goggles it gives you an extra face on the back of your head. At least with Pete it does. I love being in the tiny wilds again and I can’t wait to see what’s to come!
  6. I don't know if there's an accessibility setting to fix it, but when i place down a waypoint for something far away, i intend to make use of it. I don't want to wander in that direction until it shows up on my screen, I don't want to constantly check a map, I want to see it on my Hud, and go there. a waypoint system is meant to guide you, and mission waypoints are constant, so why aren't personal ones? pls fix
  7. If it helps anyone... Due to my game pass subscription, I was able to play on my PC via cloud gaming and it worked just fine...
  8. Bought and downloaded the DLCs from the Founder's Edition of the game but options don't show the toggle for equipping the DLC skins. Have reinstalled the game, the DLCs, and restarted my PC twice to no avail.
  9. Let me start with, I've played grounded 1, also from early access. Amazing game. And cool to see grounded 2 is so fast launched. And pretty well polished looking. I want to share my experience hoping it improves the game. Here's the good the bad and the ugly from my perspective - Intro cinematic is awesome! got distracted a bit at the news segment because its a bit repetitive 'explosion explosion explosion' yeah yeah we get it explosion. - right after the cinematic when we zoom into the park it was unwatchable screen tear. just the pan was blurry. - nothing to loot but items look lootable? looks like a collectible card in the beginning. - mouse sensitivity was off for me btw, had to crank it way up! (cheap basic mouse here) - i skipped a section and clicked on the travel/ pneumatic tube thing. then i couldn't go back. maybe I missed something, idk. wouldn't hurt to make it 2 way? - the mites can be eternally respawned but don't give any loot. - the phone ringing constantly is ****ing annoying. After the first couple rings I get it, let me get to it in peace please. - Dialog while standing frozen at the screen is annoying. I want to move /look around. Options feel meaningless and at some point just trying to get out of it. annoying. - The way the menu connects to the other menu's is weird. Feels all over the place. just a horizontal list of tabs would be great. Also, the way we open the menu from all these different key binds.. just weird. - opening the door holding e.. why. just open door. why hold. - Why would you rob us of the experience of crafting some basic tools and give me the omnitool that also works annoying / holding E. I want to break stuff myself, hitting it. it worked fine in grounded 1. - The analyzing. jesus christ. so it works kinda like before except annoying? skip to skip, then escape to skip, then space again. My fingers aren't that long. can I please just mash through it. I really love the 'Science' + the short animation, keep it simple, feels overdone. the hard part is finding the items in the game, not unlocking stuff. - now i'm sort of done with the intro, standing outside the little building. my mission is to buy an upgrade? huh? WHY. I'll just explore from here but.. weird. there are quests but again, menu is weird and have to pick anothre menu then cycle through to quests.. i really enjoy the vibe game but good luck. please polish. right now its quite frustrating experience. a lot of stuff just gets in the way of me trying to play/enjoy the game. Thanks!

  11. Hi, I have encountered an issue with mouse sensitivity (or therefore lack of it). I use a thumb trackball mouse as the area for my pc is limited. I have the Founders pack for Grounded 2 ( which is a great game) but have had multiple unnecessary deaths due to the severe lack of mouse sensitivity. Upon opening the game the "Keyboard" mouse sensitivity was at 35%. I like a super sensitive mouse so i upped it to 50%. It made no difference. So I upped it to 100%. An incrementally small difference but no real change. Unfortunately this makes fighting in the game almost impossible as i am unable to aim fast enough and even looking around take many more (too many) turn of my mouse ball to do anything. Can you solve this please? Thank you P.S Can't upload clip - too big
  12. Same here. Me and my friend's game had one bee spawn. Appears another is at max height. Typical grass stairs to reach them doesn't work.
  13. The game crashes everytime I launch it with this Unreal error. Never managed to get in once Tried updating video drivers, reinstalling/repairing the game, in vain. Please help!
  14. I was wearing the Clover Hood when it broke. That is when Pete's face was on the back of his head. The front of his face is still normal, but now he looks like Quirinus Quirrell from Harry Potter. I haven't repaired my hood yet to put it back on, that might fix the glitch, but I wanted to report it before it went away. Love the game so far! This in no way is gamebreaking for me, but I know the devs would want to know this bug is out there.
  15. I was fighting an orb weaver Jr with a 2 handed weapon and died, but after respawning, my hands appeared on the right side of the screen. Third person is fine, but in first person, you can see both hands to the right of the screen when running. Its a bit funny looking
  16. Too much CGI. Seems like a good use for AI. edit: not impressed with the ai upscale. Will stick with netflix.
  17. they gave us the omni-tool then removed two whole hotbars like... why??
  18. They've been talking about a remaster for DS9 for years, but there's also a lot of people who believe the work to do it is prohibitively costly and most likely will never be done (same for Voyager).
  19. While playing last night, I encountered an inventory screen issue that required me to restart the game. I was also able to repeat the menu lockup after the game reloaded. Btw, I'm playing on an Xbox Series X console, and I was hosting a multiplayer game and was the only one in the lobby. To recreate the issue, I opened a storage basket, transferring inventory between myself and the basket. While on my side of the inventory screen, I highlighted a red ant egg and brought up the submenu to look at the recipe for it. After it loaded the recipe menu, no buttons would respond at all. I could still hear background activity sounds from a snail and an aphid passing by, but the B button did not back out of the menu. No buttons would do anything, and I had to quit and reopen the game. I repeated it with the red ant egg and storage basket, but I didn't try to do this with other items. I did not try this with the storage chest because I had not unlocked it yet, and I was so excited to be playing, I just made a note and moved on. Later, while my husband was hosting a different game save and our nephew was playing (all of us on Xbox Series X consoles), the game crashed and kicked us back to the main screen. We were all exploring separate areas, but when the game reloaded, we were in exactly the same position with all the same inventory items. I have nothing specific to report for a root cause; I just wanted to give kudos for the game reloading exactly where we were after a crash. The only other thing we noticed while playing last night was that random rocks and grass kept strobe flashing in and out, while I believe it was time for them to respawn after they'd been harvested. The option to harvest would come up, but we couldn't really interact with the resource to make it stop or go away. However, after about 10-15 minutes, the resources stopped flashing or disappeared. The last issue/question to add is how do you automatically return to sprinting after stamina regenerates? In Grounded 1, when sprint was enabled, it would auto-start sprinting again after stamina refilled. Is that a menu option I have set incorrectly, or was that a change for Grounded 2 to conserve stamina? If so, for quality of life improvement request from myself, can it please be added back as a menu option? Is this the right place to request such a change if this is not a user issue? When farming for resources, I like to put on the aphid slippers and boogie through the yard. But last night, it was kind of annoying to have to keep clicking the left stick to start running again after the stamina bar ran out. Maybe that's a personal preference, but I enjoy being able to zip through the yard for resources or just general exploring, and just keep running. None of this is meant to be negative in any way. I hope it was constructive enough to be repeatable in testing. Some of the new button mapping was a learning curve, but it is so much fun! It is so frustrating when sequels change the original recipe that made the gameplay so great. Fantastic job picking up where we left off and keeping the same gameplay magic while continuing the story and adding to the journey that makes this game so awesome.
  20. Hopefully this makes it to the eyes of the devs, several items noticed. This was all conducted on a shared-world with 3 players on an Xbox Series X with no crossplay. 1. Red Mites attack animation prone to stuttering, creates a blur affect. 2. When depositing items quickly into chests the frames begin to slow down, if you keep going it feels like it might crash the game. 3. Sprinting does not auto turn back when stamina resets from exhaustion. 4. Peep markers will be located ontop of whatever is above where you try to peep, causes confusion. 5. Movement not possible when quick access (LB) menu is open.
  21. I’ve seen some too, for example… when I died all the UI was gone and I was just staring at my backpack on the floor, couldn’t do anything at all, and the worst part is when I logged back In… all my armor and weapons were gone, everything in my hotbar.. gone.. this is probably a glitch/lag on my part but, every time I fight ANY insect, my movement is delayed slightly. im not sure if this is meant to happen but, my buggie like died not just knocked out, he disappeared And my hatchery disappeared which is odd but besides that it’s fun anyway :DD
  22. I’m noticing some graphics and texture issues right from the start. There are some strange ground textures popping up and grass strands flash on the screen, almost looks like it’s raining. Anyone having a similar issue or know how to fix it?
  23. As the title says. Using quick keys is nice and all but being able to scroll through the hotbar is a must on games like this. It seems we cant even assign the mouse wheel to any actions in the key bindings which is odd to say the least.
  24. Signed up for an account just now to say that I fully agree with all of the QoL/design arguments after having player for a few hours now. Hopefully parroting your thoughts will give more visibility to the these items as I think they are REALLY important for Obsidian to nail down before doing anything else. If the core aspects of the game are not enjoyable/smooth then it's really going to make simply exploring the world a hassle. Which
  25. ok just dicoverd that if you actually try to drag an item the hotbar appears
  26. My friend and I encountered a Scorpion in the early game and ran from it. We retreated all the way to our beginning base near the first ranger station. We then went out to get some more materials in that area only to find the scorpion had chased us all the way back to our base. We could not lose the scorpion despite our best efforts. It was like once it saw us, it followed us everywhere. Our deaths didn’t change anything, sleeping didn’t change anything, quitting and logging back in didn’t change it. The only thing that fixed it was to cheese kill the scorpion. The scorpion should not be able to track us indefinitely.
  27. Reached this quest and got to the berry stash. ORC guards spawned and I killed them. The screen went glitchy and the ORC leader said good job but the quest will not complete. Tried reloading old saves and doing it again and it still won't complete.
