Sweat Bees
Alynxkia replied to masterninja1507's topic in Grounded 2: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Could be interesting. I like that altering your playing behavior can help you avoid any trouble with them, but at the same time most players are going to accidentally trigger them at some point. Gives you another reason to watch your stats and a hazard to working on the cardio fan mutation. -

So far I am absolutely loving my time with grounded 2! Finished the quest to the current point absolutely geeked out at the masked stranger and its one of my favorite voice actors! Only thing that felt missing so far from the first game was the excitement I felt from being able to see EVERYTHING I could build from the work bench. Since it was exclusively in the build wheel there were a few times certain things I could build I totally forgot about or it was lost in that window. I wish I could see everything in the workbench and while I'm building use the circle window. So far thats the only thing I feel missing. It is something I could see myself getting used to but it would be nice for crafting and building to just be the same again. Maybe another bench or station for building but I think its the only thing that feels missing from the first for me. The workbench just feels lacking a bit without all the options. Next thing is a very fun glitch that I had a couple times is getting on my buggy and they get a super bounce and pretty much lose fall damage. I was able to jump over grass stems and escape encounters easily. Doing it with the spider buggy was the fastest ive ever gotten around the park. I could jump over grass stems in one bounce and get pretty much anywhere. Now I dont think its something that should happen as a random glitch but def something I think would be fun if you could make it happen to your mount as a temp buff.

I had a full inventory when I looted the ORC Roach Queen and missed Roach Rage. I’ve gone back and scoured the room but it seems to be long gone. I’ve read that the trinket can drop from non-ORC Queens. Can anyone confirm? Also when I loaded an earlier save to test, I immediately got her gold card when I looted her. I never got a gold card on my main file. If the gold card was meant to be automatic I guess I’ve got a glitch. Hopefully updates either give it automatically or add more respawning ORC Queens to fight.

I'm really enjoying grounded 2 and the new park so far. there are some major issues that may have already been reported but I'd still like to add them just in case. Entrance wolf spider is no longer spawning in the planter area at all, nor the mosquitos behind it on the concrete steps close to the game signs. Ceremony wolf spider is inside the big black rock and cannot get out. materials sometimes fall through the ground(map) dismounting buggy on elevated built platforms causes you to get stuck in the floor piece. buggy is not as fluid as it should be when running along the surface/ground getting stopped by tiny piles of dirt and such so annoying. My suggestions Please in the next grounded can we have carried progression while bringing in the new? I found it very restricting that the ideas all have to be relearned and the stopping point leaves the game feeling empty if whats new besides the buggy's and the park area. New bug Ideas and suggestions Fleas Tarantula Hawk wasp centipedes(aggressive) millipedes(Docile) Monarch butterfly Trapdoor spider(more underground discoveries) Since we're going to be collecting parts for Burgle another option besides the base moving being able to craft those fast travel elevator tubes as seen in the statue and some ranger stations, to travel between floors. they can be used to travel between bases players build as well as an elevator system to travel between player built base floors. Hope we see the return of the Ant-lion!

My husband and I played without big problems on PC. Some freezes and crashes on my side, he is the host without any problems. Suddenly today his game crashed and now he couln't host or join any multiplayer session: "There was an error connecting to the multiplayer service. Please check your connection an try again." We tried every solution from the internet - nothing worked. Unfortunately he also can't play Grounded 1 in MP since this problem occurs. I hope there will be a hotfix for this problem asap, because now we can't even play Grounded 1 together.

Random Texture Bug
Jans replied to Jans's question in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Nevermind, I am a dang genius. It's some kind of DirectX shenanigans, so if you have this problem use dxvk to change to Vulkan and that will fix everything. -
Buggy additions (Use of bow)
Raven Scar replied to Snoopie_JP's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
well not really because if you have a bow out you cant use the buggy attack, the buggy attack is effectively an unarmed attack -
Suggession : buggy trailer
Alynxkia replied to Julians's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
The first imagery that came to mind was a flatbed trailer that we would position the items on top of. I feel like that might be a nightmare to code for though as you’d have all these various sized items trying to move over/through the terrain. You could have the grass and whatnot ignore them while they’re on the trailer, but that would look weird. And if you were going through an area that had something above you the collision would be… interesting. If the trailer that we built acted like an extremely large chest that furniture and production items could be placed in that would be pretty neat and there wouldn’t need to be code for how those random furniture pieces would or would not interact with the things we encountered as we moved. Only the trailer itself would have to be accounted for. I think the buggy speed would have to be decreased while using it. Maybe even require two buggies to pull the trailer or a more robust mount. We would still run into enemies though so the trailer would have a health bar and if it was depleted all your stuff would fall out, but not be instantly destroyed as that is just too harsh. Something like a backpack could appear. The trailer would be repairable up until the destruction point so if you managed to fight off your enemies, you could just repair it. If it was destroyed, but you lived through the fight you would have to make another trailer or transport the stuff the old-fashioned way. (Or reload your save, whatever way you want to play.) We could have a couple versions of trailers. Maybe one meant to carry multiple pallets. Maybe stronger trailers that have a larger health bar. Maybe a smaller trailer that can’t hold as much but most faster. Perhaps a trailer meant for actual building pieces so you could truly move your entire base instead of having to destroy pieces of it to get back resources to be build elsewhere. The third person camera would have to back out a little bit I think and the first person camera… well we’ll have our usual issues or lack there of. -
player get stuck in lower ceilings
Raven Scar replied to Bummfidl's topic in Grounded 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I had this and a quick save load fixed it for me -
This issue keeps popping up on multiple threads so I think they will adjust it in future updates. The only finicky part about the fix is allowing you to get close enough to the buggy to mount it, but not allowing the buggy to get/stay that close to you. If you increase the range at which you can mount the buggy, then you risk that triggering when you don’t want it to. Perhaps there can be a slight delay when you move into mounting range before the code to make the buggy get out of the way triggers.

One thing I'd like to see come to this game are Sweat Bees. Sweat Bees can sting though not painful feels like a small nibble and they like to drink sweat for the minerals in it. They could be added as a passive mob to the game and then when you start running or get low on water they attack you for your sweat.

Switching between screens ; items should be in same spot. Not in middle of inventory. Looking at only buggy inventory the items are on bottom. But looking at buggy inventory while i am in my inventory screen. Items are in the middle

Buggy following to close

I agree with increasing the following distance. I don't know how many times I have tried to cut down things, or pick up stuff and I am suddenly riding my buggy. -
Is there any way to stop raids?
J9Thompson replied to Techpriest Emily's topic in Grounded 2: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
(Spoilers) I have progressed through the story "so far"... and the raids have stopped for me... I thought I would like that.. but I kinda miss them cause it adds a little excitement from gathering supplies and building bases that I may or may not use depending on how the new content is added. -
