Bug: Consecrated Ground does not move with caster

In case it's supposed to work like in POE1 that is.

Currently it will remain and do its AoE restoration pulse at the spot where it was cast.

Still looks like an oversight to me.

I couldn't find anything that would suggest that it has been changed from the POE1 "mobile" AoE to a stationary one in Deadfire either.

Must be a bug - unless they just forgot to update the documentation or tell us about this significant change (for the worse, as far as I'm concerned).

Good question. The change is not an error. When the skill is coupled with the character, it looks like an aura. We think that the skill makes more sense when it is stationary. The name is "Consecrated Ground", not "Consecrated Priest".
