baldurs_gate_2 Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 So, in which hand do i have to put my weapon to increase my crit chance with one handed style and does this work with inner death?
Purudaya Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 (edited) A weapon set has two slots. The one on the left is for the primary weapon; the one on the right is for the off-hand/shield. For single weapon style just place your one-handed weapon in the primary slot of the weapon set you want to use. Note that to get the bonus, you can't have anything in the shield/offhand slot. jakesmurf Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 So any particular weapon suggestion? Whatever the best thing you have available is? Most of the weapon specialty modals kinda suck anyway, so you don't HAVE to stick to your proficiencies. Generally speaking though, sabres are very strong and there are a ton of legendary sabres in this game. If you're going for a Quick Flurry build there is probably a strong case to made for spears. There is a legendary spear that gives you a 33% chance to have a 0sec attack recovery after a critical hit, so even if you crit and don't Flurry, you have another chance to instantly attack again. That being said, Quick Flurry / Inner Death builds are totally broken and will ruin the gameplay experience for you unless you're into that sort of thing
baldurs_gate_2 Posted May 16, 2018 Author Posted May 16, 2018 Thank you. I found 2 more or less useless legendaries for my monk at nemnok and one fire axe. I bought one rapier in this pirate town. What i want to know is, does the weapon style has any effect on "whispers of the wind", how often enemies get hit?
