Hi guys I completed the Stranded Quest and got my ship. Now Sailing looks a little complicated to me, could you please advice me some tips as to what to do to be a competent Captain?

Also, how do I make landfall? Take for example Island Maje, how do I get on land again from my ship?

You have to click on the anchor symbol over a town/beach to disembark your ship, or on the map symbol of the city in Neketaka's case.

sailing is just clicking on the map. Making landfall is either clicking on a city with a port or clicking on the anchor icon on the islands where it shows up. Not all island are explorable, the tiny ones for example generally can't be explored.

Angering the owning faction.

I'm not sure if it doesn't matter or I just did other things that more than compensated for it, but I've boarded every ship except the neutral merchants and all the factions like me.
