Shouldn't those be disabled as well if you're playing on Expert Mode?

With the qualifiers still showing players can't exactly "rely on their own faculties and intuition" now, can they?

You can bring up those mouse-over summaries of the characters' skills and attributes at any time anyway, so it's not even complete guesswork either to figure out the appropriately skilled character for the job at hand.

Those qualifiers (and I do think they count as well) absolutely should be disabled with Expert Mode enabled.

Oddly enough, there are CYOA interactions where Expert Mode seems to work correctly and the qualifiers below the characters' portraits are properly hidden:

So is this officially considered an oversight then?

Because if it isn't, it's inconsistent nonetheless to sometimes show the qualifiers and not at other times. Either have the game show them for every skill check there is so that Expert Mode can reliably hide them all or get rid of them altogether.

Given how Expert Mode is near completely borked anyhow at the moment the news of another thing that should be hidden but in fact is not doesn't come as much of a surprise anyway.
That being said - I too hope I won't have to see those particular 'hand-holdy' qualifiers again once Expert Mode gets eventually fixed.

Considering that those qualifiers are shown even for Watcher-only checks makes for a good argument to actually have them disabled as well on Expert Mode, in case they weren't included with the other qualifiers in the first place. There's really no good reason to still not have them deactivated on Expert Mode now, is there?

I'd really like to have this looked into as soon as possible too.

You can actively avoid looking at those 'spoilers' only for so long.
