Despite being becoming mayor of Dyrford in my ending for the first game, Edér is wearing an amulet that references the 'Night Market.'

As per what I've read in the wiki this suggested that I convinced him that the god's influence was good and hadn't encouraged him to be more sceptical.

Did something mess up?

Yup. This has been confirmed to be a bug in the save import system. It should be fixed in the next patch.

Ah, I see.

Worth holding off on starting a game then?

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Any idea when the new patch comes out?

Tried my PoE save first - the ending was mayor - instead in-game Eder got Night's Market - both the item and explanation.

Thought - oh, direct import is borked (it usually is, can't remember a game with this feature where it wasn't...), who knows where else, made a manual save. In game Eder has his mayor item, but speech for his bad ending (left Dyrwood to visit his parents).

So, yes, everything is borked.

I’ve heard May 15th earliest for next patch but have no idea where the person who said that got there information from

Eric said it in a Reddit thread.

I noticed it was screwed up, restarted and simulated a save instead. Still got the bad ending for Edér dialogue but at least he has the mayor items.

It's still an Obsidian release after all.

Pallegina is bugged like this too. My game ended with her being Kind Wayfarer but a conversation showed that it's imported as not finishing the quest at all.
