May 5, 20187 yr I heard you make some decisions on start of the game that are replacement for not loading the save file from POE, but that it might be confusing for new players. Is that correct and do you have an advice for good playthrough? https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33102093/ - Picky Gamer Girl!
May 5, 20187 yr There are a couple ways to do it. I am doing this as spoiler free as I can. Although this is a forum for spoilers... so... anyway here we go. 1) play the game and at a point in early dialogue you get certain presets to select such as: Benevolent, Evil, etc. These are preset ending conditions for PoE1 built into Deadfire. 2) In the main menu there is a sort of scripted interaction that lets you select individual decisions for each major event in PoE1. Stuff like how the companion stories ended, major plot points, and a few others. Just pick what feels right. Option 1 is easier and faster, and option 2 here is more in depth and individual to how you wanted your decisions to be made.
May 5, 20187 yr Author My point was that, since I haven't finished POE, I want spoilers so I could decide my choices in POE2 in order to play POE2 without regrets. https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33102093/ - Picky Gamer Girl!
May 5, 20187 yr We don't know what the consequences of each choice will be (perhaps a few if you go through the early access stream with a magnifying glass). And while we're at it, we don't know what kind of consequences would make you happy. May 8, 20187 yr Plus this is obsidian. At least some of the positive, can't possibly go wrong choices will end in horror and shame.
