Are the Gloves of Manipulation still the only / best way to boost Mechanics?

 

If so, where do I have to save-scum to find the things now?

That wiki is no longer accurate as to random loot, so I don't know if it's accurate in other respects regarding 3.06.

Just do not change leader of your squad (first portrait in a row, in low-left corner) - i've heard it might trigger  loot randomization (don't know if it's true or not).

Anyway, i've always getting those Gloves 13 Tarprima - 10 of 10 times (3.06).

Also you might check hidden stash in one of the cameras, near Giacco, in Raedric Keep Gungeons 4-6 Fonprima. It's not handy to me, becose i always dealing with Caed Nua at this time, but if you prefer another pace, you might try to catch Gloves from there.

In this case, Rogue Laborer (+ 3 Mechanics) as main char will be the best option
