if I have a character die towards the end of chapter 3 (which happened to my rogue) she doesn't get the reward for that scenario, which is fair. But I also noted when I beat chapter 3 that she never got to unlock her advanced class. Is this going to unlock for her at some point, or is she forever screwed?

I think you need to replay the adventure with her and beat it without her being defeated. She should then get the reward for both that scenario and for completing chapter 3, unlocking her prestige class.

I was poking around her character card and see she is missing a check mark on that adventure, so I'm replaying it. Thanks!
