is there going to be a Steam/GoG achievement for backing the game?

As the title asks.  Just like what they did with PoE 1, having a backer achievement.

There should be. I can't wait for the rage of completionist non-backers crying out in rage and agony over the fact that they'll never be able to get 100% of all achievements. One of the best features of PoE 1 in my opinion .

What's that cat in a box both dead and alive at the same time--that's my PoE backer achievement.

 

The physical box pledge wasn't available when the game released, so I had to get a non-backer digital copy in order to play at launch. Now the achievement just sits there in the queue, unclaimed, taunting me.
