0 Hannibal_PJV Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Did you check what skill was after blessing? You may have to switch the skill back to original. The game sometimes ques the optimal skill wrongly and you have to manually change it to better one. 2
0 mccrispy Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 I think that Hannibal_PJV has it here. I frequently have to choose between 2D8 or 3D4 when playing a Blessing on a Barrier Check. Managing the skill used for the check is an important (but less-used) part of the game.
0 Pengw1n Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 If you play a blessing that gives you 2 dice - it always defaults to to that, rather than 1 extra of higher value as suggested above.
0 mccrispy Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Yeah, that sounds like the behaviour I see: it changes the check type to match the skill of the Blessing, which means if you don't have that skill, you get 2D4 rather than 1 die of the skill that you do have.
0 stevozip Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Yep, most likely the blessing you played was either Calistria or Milani, both of which grant 2 dice to a dexterity check, of which Seelah uses a d4.
