I found the upscaled Sky Dragon easy, I didn't even do any consumable buffing for it - just used a few Scrolls of Defence and Llengrath's Potions. It's not hard to get decent positioning with Boots of Speed (north west on the map behind the stone structure) with it and so keep it at arms reach, plus most of the trash mobs are left behind. It also doesn't attack very fast, so while it can Stun you it can't usually make good on hitting you again while you're debuffed.

I found the Adra Dragon to have similar bulkiness to the Alpine (in terms of how quickly they died) - so possibly it's effected by upscaling? Either that, or its base for PotD is already pretty good.

They were for me, as you can't Confuse them like most dragons - and there's two of them, and you occasionally seem to get turned into a piglet no matter how high you buff. Something I've always wanted to try with the pair is dominating Gafonercos, he's not immune to it like Turisulfus. I'd imagine if you could fire fast enough with a Wizard, Priest or Druid and Gyrd Háewanes Sténes you could let Gafonercos do the fighting for you.

Something that I've only recently realised is that Carow Golan is probably better than Llengrath potions for most boss fights, Llengrath potions boost Deflection higher than Carow Golan but they both boost Reflex by +20. As most monster boss fights don't target Deflection, Carow Golan frees up a load of quick slots that would normally be filled with Llengrath potions for figurines, offensive scrolls or whatever else you fancy - plus you only have worry about reapplying your Scrolls of Defence (I found there was almost inevitably a time where I wouldn't have both on at once, you can of course reapply prematurely and suppress the previous but you will at some point take a heavy hit in these battles and then you have to heal - scuppering your plans to reapply one or the other). Though the Carow Golan Int penalty is quite hefty, it can be perfectly offset for a while with the Mind Grubs and Whiteleaf combo I've mentioned previously.

Even on a 3 Int character the Carow Golan/Whiteleaf/Mind Grubs combo is suitable as you can still obtain 11 Int for reasonable Scrolls of Defence durations: +4 from Gwyn's Band of Union, +2 from the Dragon's Lair in Dyrford (assuming you want the +2 Might/Con, otherwise you can go for the Forum resting bonus or whatever) and +2 from Aldwyn's Boon (though Lyrinia is usually better, such a low Int usually means higher scores in Might and Con, so on balance it plays out fine). As long as you don't have lengthy recovery (which you shouldn't as armor is practically worthless in the face of enemies who are going to way exceed your DR anyway in a single hit) it shouldn't be a problem to keep them maintained.

While I'm still playing solo, I imagine for team play if you buff just one tanky guy on your team like this and give them Drawn in Spring you should be able to take down the Bog Dragons, particularly if you manage to score some decent hits with your team mates before they're knocked out.

Or use Ring of Changing Heart's dominate with Kana while he's chanting "Slay the Beast" and wears the Blackwarden's Breastplate. I know Kana's PER and therefore ACC is not the best but with +45 ACC it should at least graze. You don't have to wait for that until you have focus or enough phrases. Later on you can use the charming invocation, too. Of course the cipher can try it, too - preferably. A nice setup against dragon I use at the moment is a paladin who engages the dragon with a marking weapon and Coordinated Attacks while another char with high ACC and ACC buffs (like Disciplined Barrage or Tactical Meld or the things I said above) tries to land a disabling/CC effect on the dragon. +40 or even more ACC bonus works very well on dragons! You can keep the dragon disabled most of the time because the CC effects often crit even against resistances.

Oh wow, that breastplate.

I already don't miss even on upscaled Sky Dragon with higher fort than the bog dragon's I didn't graze with "only" beast chant and camping bonus.

So I guess with that breastplate I'll just disintegrate as always but maybe even crit.

I have coordinated attacks but no marking weapon but I guess too much overkill won't be necessary. :)

There was a lot of talk earlier in the thread about Pull of Eora flinging enemies out of its range & being poor crowd control. From the perspective of a solo wizard, I have to disagree - the spell seems very effective at keeping foes from doing much (other than getting dragged around the battlefield). With high Int and good positioning (perfection not necessary) I can usually avoid melee engagement from all but one foe, two at the most. Overlapping the AoE with Chill Fog in most battles (mastered) probably helps since anything hit by both has lost 3 movement speed.

The only thing I really find annoying about Pull of Eora is that it sometimes seems to cause the visual and real positions of pulled enemies to differ by 5-10 meters. Never quite sure what I'll hit with the Blast.

I agree. After that discussion I used it frequently with my gunslinging wizard and it's still awesome. I guess the few times that enemies get pushed out of the area (it's not that often and in close quarters it doesn't matter anyway) are bearable. It's one of the best CC spells for me because I like to use spells like Chillfog, Wicked Briars and so on - all those spells that deal damage or CC in pulses. Pull of Eora keeps the enemies in the hazard field and they do... nothing. They just stand around. There's also no immunity against it.
