August 11, 20169 yr Author Thanks for all the replies and ideas. I have been able to do multiple other updates in the last several days, so I know that isn't the problem. Hadn't heard of the 10 tap thing and got excited that maybe it would help -- but just sat through the whole spin of the circle only to get at the last moment again -- unable to download. Running out of ideas. Definitely don't want to lose all my quest progress so uninstalling isn't an option.
August 12, 20169 yr Author Finally got the update downloaded. I hit restore on the store screen then restarted the ipad and tried again - updated in a few seconds.

August 12, 20169 yr Can't update on android either. Running the app gets a warning that there's a new update necessary but going to the store there's no option to update. Purely speculation, but I think 1.0.3.7 is going live shortly, but the play store hasn't refreshed yet.
August 12, 20169 yr Seeing the same thing as Gwendel. Apparently there's a gap between what version of the client we need and what is available on the Play store.
