Thanks for all the replies and ideas. I have been able to do multiple other updates in the last several days, so I know that isn't the problem. Hadn't heard of the 10 tap thing and got excited that maybe it would help -- but just sat through the whole spin of the circle only to get at the last moment again -- unable to download. Running out of ideas. Definitely don't want to lose all my quest progress so uninstalling isn't an option.

Finally got the update downloaded. I hit restore on the store screen then restarted the ipad and tried again - updated in a few seconds.

...

There is definitely something strange is here that I can not comprehend...

Well maybe someone can track down the reason behind this behaviour.

Can't update on android either. Running the app gets a warning that there's a new update necessary but going to the store there's no option to update. Presuming this is just a timing issue? I'm in UK. Concerned because no log in functionality and recently purchased daily gold.......

Purely speculation, but I think 1.0.3.7 is going live shortly, but the play store hasn't refreshed yet.

Seeing the same thing as Gwendel. Apparently there's a gap between what version of the client we need and what is available on the Play store.

Experiencing the same thing here, on Android.

That is a timing issue, that unable to load the update at all is different.
