June 12, 20169 yr so i was playing quest mode when i encountered the flaming mace+1 at the mill and then the weirdest thing happened, somehow i was able to reveal the crowbar in order to gain 1 roll dice, now i've read that this game require some sort of abstraction because silly things can happen but i'm not sure how a crowbar is supposed to help you pick up a mace, maybe it was nailed to the ground? i took a screenshot of the bug happening but i'm currently having problem uploading the image so if you guys don't need it i'd rather avoid

Crowbar adds 1 or 2 (with discard) dice to your non-combat Strength checks. You can use the 'Mark Solved' button beneath a post that answers your topic or confirms it's not a bug. The time that devs don't have to spend on the forum is a time they can spend on fixing the game.
June 12, 20169 yr Author you know i thought the card said "reveal this card to add 1 die to your non-combat strenght check for your check to defeat a barrier" so i thought it was supposed to work on barrier that required a strenght check like doors (which was logical) but now that i read the card better it says "reveal this card to add 1 die to your non-combat strenght check OR your check to defeat a barrier" so i guess you are right and you are indeed supposed to use a crowbar in order to pick up stuff from the ground (which is not logical at all)
June 13, 20169 yr It is easier to go to the Arms shop in the Night with the crowbar than do the bargain with the shopkeeper during the daylight ;-)
June 13, 20169 yr Also when you find a magical weapon in some ancient ruin, you might have to break something to get it, that's when the crowbar is useful. Of course it's not as useful as when Valeros use the crowbar in order to "defeat" the "Shopkeeper daughter" trap. "Become woman, for you have cooties ! <twak !>"
