[3.03] Stormcaller Bug

I have currently bound Stormcaller to Kana, who has Weapon Focus: Peasant. He does not get the +6 Accuracy Bonus, however. He does get the +6 Accuracy Bonus for his second weapon, the Grey Sleeper.

 

So right now, he gets +6 for an Estoc, but not for a Hunting Bow, kind of ironic for Weapon Focus: Peasant...

I'm running around my old saves with Stormcaller and it is being flagged as universal gaining accuracy from all weapon focuses (as intended). Can you link me your save file and maybe I can find the deference between mine and yours.

Hi Sking,

 

I've just resumed my PoE playthrough (I had a lot non-gaming issues on my plate lately). On steam, I had to verify the integrity of my game cache, and had to redownload 247 files.

 

After that, I got the +6 Accuracy boost from my Weapon Focus talent.

 

Although I have no idea how 247 files could have become corrupted, as I didn't do anything which could have influenced my PoE files in any way, it seems that these corrupted files were the culprit, not the beta patch...

 

I do sincerely apologize for keeping you busy with this issue unnecessarily.

 

But thank you for providing us with this marvellous game (and the even better expansions, which made me really look forward to PoE 2)!

Sounds like a regression bug. Some soulbound weapons were lacking the "universal" flag before 3.02. If 3.03 broke this again, I hope it gets fixed before the patch goes live.

But Stormcaller should at least be flagged as a Hunting Bow, shouldn't it?

 

It must now not be flagged at all, as even the Weapon Focus for Hunting Bows doesn't add the +6 bonus...
