My game state is broken and I don't know what to do. I've killed the program, restarted my device, but when I load up Pathfinder and tap Continue, it gives me this screen (see above). I have tapped everywhere on the screen that I can, and I don't get a response. Can't even open settings to forfeit. 

 

Stuck on the last scenario of Hook Mountain Massacre. I clicked the "X" on the left-hand side of the page when the displayed Blessing was up for a Skill Check and it gave me this screen with no response. Help. 

Same thing happened to me earlier,, some how I managed to restart the game enough to where is put me on the previous turn and I managed to forfeit and restart. If I did not get lucky with that I would have been stuck there indefinitely.

• iPad Mini 2 running iOS 9.3.2 (13F69)
• Final Scenario of Hook Mountain Massacre - Regular Difficulty
• Welcome menu appears, Logged in to GameCenter
• Pass & Play Off
• Permadeath Off
• Characters - Seoni, Amiri, Kyra, Merisiel
• Card Encountered - Blessing of Norborger
• When Encountered - May have been first explore, not sure
• Other Characters - No Aid

Also, I have tried dragging the blessing from the top of the location deck, but it won't budge.

Also try going into the Vault and back again, sometimes fixes UI problems.

Tried that. Can't get to vault from within the game instance as the settings button won't respond. Went to vault from main menu. No fix.

yeah, these kind of bugs are usually resolved by getting the game to redraw the screen, basically (going to vault, changing screens somehow etc.).  But since you're mid-act, not sure.  I don't even have a clue how your blessing got up there in the first place.

 

Are you in quest or story?  You might be able to try starting another story party, disbanding this one, and then re-forming it, which sometimes helps.

I'm in story mode. I really don't want to have to kill this game and start over. I'm ten hours-in with this play-through. Can I get some dev help?

Killing a party only kills the specific scenario.  If you reform the party, with the exact same members, you should be at the same progression point.  I haven't dont it, but I've heard many people use this workaround for game-breaks.

I just caved and did this. Characters maintain skills, cards, and powers gained but any cards are lost. Progression through the story is lost. 

 

There goes ten hours.

 

CORRECTION - skills, card points, and powers are gone as well. Now I'm really upset.

Sorry about the bug, we are looking into it now. Thank you for posting all that information. Deleting your party and creating a new one using experienced characters should not remove your progress or the cards you have collected. Under the experienced tab, do you happen to have more than 1 of the same characters?

I just noticed that my roster contained two versions of my experienced characters. Reformed with the experienced versions. Decks, skills, powers, card feats, and progress restored. I'm back in business.

I had a similar problem with an undefeated Night Belly Boa (henchman in Flood)

Solurion was to drag the card to the top right where they appear when you are encountering a card.

The game the correctly allowed me to use weapons etc and move on. You could try that in the future if it happens again
