Hi, anyone test if Ryona's breastplate's vigeous defense can be triggered by AOE ability like Sacred Immolation or it is only triggered by weapon hits?

So far my testing concludes that unlike Shod-in-faith and others, Ryona's defensive procs don't trigger outside of combat, melee or otherwise.

 

In combat so far, I've seen it trigger on an enemy's Clear Out, which is an AOE spell.

 

 

 

It can be triggered by any attack (melee, ranged, spells, cc, auras) that hits/crits you.

That description is really misleading, I was thinking its trigger on hit, not being hit :/

How so? I thought the description was pretty clear.
