It's been known for a bit over a year now that the elemental boost talents like Scion of the Flame do not affect DoT damage or bard songs like "The Dragon Thrashed". If there is no change to these talents forthcoming, it would be best to mention these exceptions in the talent descriptions.

I see no good reason why SoF shouldn't affect Chanter skills. The best solution would be to make sure that SoF applies to all fire damage and re-balance base damage values as needed.

Chanter's phrase is a DoT. DoT are now the only exception.

It is not good, but at least there are not so many subcases like for stacking/non stacking effect.

Hey everyone,

So the problem here isn't that the description is missing the exceptions, it's that the talents should work with (more or less) everything. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only things they do not work with currently are traps and DoTs (which seem most hurtful to chanters). The talents should properly increase both of these types of abilities, so they are currently not working as intended. There's been a report in our system for quite a while, but I've pushed it a bit so hopefully this problem can get the love it deserves.

Thank you all for your patience regarding this issue =)

I try my very best.
