As a I recall Azzuro used to sell you items, like the very nice Hiro's Mantle.

 

In my current game, which includes both expansions, when Azzuro arrived at my keep he had a problem which I paid a hefty 5,000 copper to help him address. After I did this he disappeared, but according the stronghold interface he's going to be at my keep for around a week.

 

But, he's not there. He just took my 5k and disappeared and I've had no opportunity to purchase anything from him.

 

Seems like a bug to me, so I'm sharing this so that it can be looked into.

In the run through I just now completed, Azzuro didn't even first show up until very, very late in the campaign, after I'd completed WM1, IIRC.  On the upside, for the first time since I've been playing this game, he sold me the Superb shield, instead of an endless string of Rimecutters, Wurmwulls, and lesser stuff.  (About damned time.)

That's good to hear (read). It is rather confusing though that the Stronghold log indicates that he is currently at the stronghold and will leave after a certain number of days. So if this isn't a bug, it's certainly an opportunity for clearer explanation.

 

Something that says "issue resolution is in progress" or an indication of "will return to keep after his work in concluded" would be much better than a notice that makes players think he's still lurking around the keep somewhere.

It would be a lot better to have something like:

Azzuro

Prestigious Visitor. Has left the keep to take care of x, y and z. He is expected to return in a days and b hours to communicate the outcome.

 

I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but the latter quote is way more informative and helpful.

but no, there is no avatar of him in your meeting hall.
