Gairnulf Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 He makes long comments on PoE, the expansion, RPGs and game design in general, what he would like to improve, certain technical limitations the game faced and forced some decisions, etc. https://soundcloud.com/usgamernet/axe-of-the-blood-god-episode-46-obsidians-josh-sawyer-reflects-on-pillars-of-eternity A Custom Editor for Deadfire's Data:
Quillon Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Meh, one hour podcast and not one question about "what's next?".
Infinitron Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) Meh, one hour podcast and not one question about "what's next?". I've listened to it and there is such a question. I think two, even. There's not much of an answer, however. Edited March 7, 2016 by Infinitron
Ymarsakar Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) As I mentioned in another thread, I surmise that their problem might be that they are getting too many offers. Because they have been getting too many offers, perhaps like Paradox's World of Darkness, recently. And due to those offers and NDA, they can't say anything. But they haven't rejected everything as well, since they might need the money flow or have people sitting around not doing anything. It hasn't been a concern since they were working on White March part 2. But now that's done, people are itching to get at the answers now. Edited March 5, 2016 by Ymarsakar
Gairnulf Posted March 6, 2016 Author Posted March 6, 2016 BTW, Infinitron (I think) has gathered from the forums, prepared, and sent some questions to Eric Fenstermaker. The interview with him is posted on the RPG Codex site. It's pretty interesting. A Custom Editor for Deadfire's Data:
Lord_Mord Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 people are itching to get at the answers now. Fye, you're itching for the kindling touch of your sister, ye coxfither! 2 --- We're all doomed
deveroth Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Anyone have a transcript available somewhere? I rather can't stand the interviewer's voice (nor USGamer's preference for hackneyed JRPGs) and would just rather skim through it if I can.
