February 9, 20169 yr Hello! I'm sure this has been asked before, but I've tried to look online for some map assets from the game, but I can't find any of them in high enough resolution to use as a desktop background for a wide-screen monitor or without those annoying "walk-through markers". So, I'm wondering if there is a better way to go about doing this than parsing the images together from 30-50 screenshots using photoshop and in-game cheats to look through the maps? It would help a ton... Thanks for any help possible.
February 10, 20169 yr Stitching together screenshots is indeed your best bet, though for some maps other people have already done it, for example here. "Some ideas are so stupid that only an intellectual could believe them." -- attributed to George Orwell

I've visited the PoE landscapes on steam and they are beautiful. You can appreciate the great work done by area designers. I don't want to spoil the release, so I haven't done much, but I've enjoyed a lot of what I saw. I did the opening scene and some of the... space ship? Whatever it is, and then some outside scenes and a battle. Interesting so far. bother?
