February 7, 20169 yr Author Now you don' t have even the chance to speak with him, And the quest fail automatically... Anyway i kinda solved it: in the end i just need the shield aila breccia, so i walked in to the tavern And just killed the all the monks easy peasy

February 7, 20169 yr can confirm, the monk will die no matter what, thus starts the task "The Sealed Missive". hehe, funny you mention this, I completed this task yesterday. Gaming is meant to be fun. http://gamingwithscottii.blogspot.com/
February 8, 20169 yr I tried saving him, he died and I didn't get the task. I did an area loot though, maybe you have to loot his body specifically or something to get it.
February 8, 20169 yr Author No if he get killed ( And i tried all my best to prevent it, but failed) you fail automatically the task. No scrolls on the body. But anyway, not a big deal since you can expore the city And found the robe in the house And kill the monks for the shield. So in the end you can get the loots Also failing the quest
