January 23, 201610 yr I have the game on two computers--both Macs. I want to copy my in-progress games from one computer to the other, but cannot find a saved-games folder . . . or anything I recognize to be like that. I've looked in Application Support and in the " package contents" folder within the POE application itself . . . among other places. I have to assume the games I've played have been saved somewhere, but no clue, now, where to look for them. Really would appreciate any suggestions. For example, is there some kind of file within the "package contents"--just the DATA folder, maybe?--which, if copied into the "package contents" of the other computer's POE app would transfer everything re. games in progress?
January 24, 201610 yr Applications can not normally write into their app package. The save files lay elswhere. See here: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/72439-must-read-how-to-report-an-issue/ More modding for PoE II | How to Work with Stringtables
January 24, 201610 yr https://forums.obsidian.net/blog/7/entry-175-location-of-save-games/ If you bought Pillars of Eternity from the Apple App Store, your save game directory is located here:~/Library/Containers/com.mpdigital.pillarsofeternity/Data/Library/Application Support/Pillars of Eternity/Saved Games
January 24, 201610 yr I'm running on Steam and you get to the saved games by: Hold down the ALT key and in the Finder menu *GO* select *Library* then browse to: Application Support Pillars of Eternity Saved Games
March 2, 20169 yr but if you run it on steam, and you bought it from mac app store, do you mean you bought twice the game?
