September 17, 201510 yr see screen shot... this was a magic effect placed by one of my hirelings during a fight.. and has never disappeared. Is it a bug do you think. or a permanent effect?

September 18, 201510 yr It's some sort of trap effect - I've seen it a couple of times. But certainly not for a month in game! Once the ranger's pet wandered over it, and set it off, so it disappeared. The other time, it dissipated in an hour of game time IIRC (not positive on that time frame, but somewhere around that).
