There is a bug I've been able to repeat several times using Dichotomous Soul with Zahua. It seems that if I run the fire clone far away from my party before I finish off the final mob in a battle it won't despawn and just becomes a permanent "part" of my party. The ice clone always seemed to despawn when I did this. When I mean permanent I mean going to new areas, resting, triggering cutscenes, entering and ending a new battle, and even recasting Dischotomous Soul wouldn't despawn him. And if I recast the ability and did the same thing with the new fire clone I was able to trigger the bug again. This screencapture shows this as I now have two permanent clones. Also, if you notice one of the clones took on the look of Zahua but only kept the fire cloak effect.
The only time they disappeared was if I exited the game. I didn't try saving and reloading that save to see if they would disappear or not.
I am on the current patch (not sure which that is) with beta enabled in Steam.
