phoenixxzy Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I really want to play this game, but I'm unsure if my computer will be able to handle it. It is a Windows 8.1, Gateway laptop. Processor: Intel Pentium CPU B960 2.20 GHz RAM: 4.0 GB (3.82 usable) System type: 64 bit I'm not sure about graphics or sound, I'm sure those are okay. I'm mostly concerned with my processor and RAM. Will the game play well for my laptop?
danielkx Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) Doubtful. That is an entry level processor for laptops, plus with only at Intel HD 2000 series graphics card, which is quite weak, I am not so sure that you will be able to run it. Edited August 24, 2015 by danielkx
Raven Darkholme Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I don't think it will be that big of a deal, this game isn't 3d after all. I can't say for sure though, the lowest laptop I ever ran this on had 2,5 ghz dual core. My twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/victorcreed_twitch My youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/VictorCreedGaming
Katarack21 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I run it with a 2.15 ghz dual core PC. Actually, my CPU isn't even *supposed* to be able to run it...but it does.Go figure.
Raven Darkholme Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Their minimum requirements seem quite harsh for a game which graphics aren't that much better than a game from the early 2000s. My twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/victorcreed_twitch My youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/VictorCreedGaming

I'm getting 60 most of the time but whenever fancy spells go off or im in a larger area the framerate tanks into the 30s. Intel i5 2500k 3.6 Ghz 8 Gb RAM AMD Radeon HD 6950 2 Gb Highly doubtful you'll get anywhere near a decent experience with those specs.

The fact that you don't even get a constant 60fps on that machine pretty much drives home the point.
Raven Darkholme Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 But you don't need it at 60 fps. My twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/victorcreed_twitch My youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/VictorCreedGaming
danielkx Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 No you don't, especially since this isn't a fps game. However I think he is just pointing out that the game is not well optimized so even though when looking at the game one would assume the minimum requirements wouldn't be too high, the reality is the game being fairly poorly optimized means it is more demanding than it should be.
