Text to speech mod

There is a Notepad++ plugin http://sourceforge.net/projects/npp-plugins/files/SpeechPlugin/SpeechPlugin%20v0.2.1/
which enables you to listen text after you install it (SpeechPlugin_0_2_1_dll.zip).
Is it possible to implement it as a mod?
So that you can listen the books/scrolls ingame which doesn't have narration.

You can test it in Np++. It's good. I'm reading books with this plugin.

I would like to read POE books to in similar way.

This is a great idea and exactly what I'm looking for. How do blind people play PoE?

 

This functionality is right there and we just need to figure a way to feed it the text from each section in PoE. 

 

Any modders out there up for this? I'd say this has a lot of potential, and not just for PoE, but for all games...

Not understanding text is exactly what prevents them from progressing :-P
