JadedWolf Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 When it comes to the hyper realistic style that seems to prevail in this thread, Don Lawrence. But my all time favourite comic artist is Franquin. 1 Never attribute to malice that which can adequately be explained by incompetence.
licketysplit Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Frazetta hasn't been posted yet? You're all heathens.

Amentep Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Frazetta hasn't been posted yet? You're all heathens. Although he did do comics, I can't help but view Frazetta as primarily a book illustrator and painter rather than a comic artist. I mean Martin Landau worked as a comic strip artist in the mid-40s to early-50s (IIRC) but I doubt most people really think "Yeah, Landau, what a career in comics!". Similarly I do the same with Frazetta. I've even read some of his published comic work. But the major parts of his work weren't really connected with comics, making the comics kind of interesting curiosities. Edited July 27, 2015 by Amentep I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
