Although he did do comics, I can't help but view Frazetta as primarily a book illustrator and painter rather than a comic artist. I mean Martin Landau worked as a comic strip artist in the mid-40s to early-50s (IIRC) but I doubt most people really think "Yeah, Landau, what a career in comics!". Similarly I do the same with Frazetta. I've even read some of his published comic work. But the major parts of his work weren't really connected with comics, making the comics kind of interesting curiosities. Edited July 27, 2015 by Amentep I cannot - yet I must.
