June 19, 201510 yr They're supposed to improve elemental spells, but they still don't work on all of them. Especially the corrode spells are largely unaffected by Spirit of Decay, maybe because most of them are DoTs.

June 20, 201510 yr Yes, they work with "lash" abilities on weapons. I haven't tested it extensively, but I did have two similar weapons, one with burning lash, the other with freezing. I have Scion of Flame, and I get a noticeably larger bonus from the burning lash than the freezing lash. Everyone knows Science Fiction is really cool. You know what PoE really needs? Spaceships! There isn't any game that wouldn't be improved by a space combat minigame. Adding one to PoE would send sales skyrocketing, and ensure the game was remembered for all time!!!!!

June 22, 201510 yr Should do, but I haven't tested it. It seems to work fine with any ability that does DIRECT elemental damage. Everyone knows Science Fiction is really cool. June 22, 201510 yr Decay works on the corrode spells initial damage, but the problem is the DOT portion, which most corrode spells have is not in most cases augmented with decay.
June 23, 201510 yr That's because the caster isn't the source of the subsequent DoT. "Chain" type spells might cause problems as well, but I don't know if this is the case.
