Gary1986
When upgrading armor, if i was to upgrade to Fine, then upgrade to Exceptional, would the Exceptional upgrade overwrite the Fine upgrade? Hopefully the question makes sense.

Silent Winter
I thought you could only apply one such enchantment - i.e., if you upgrade a weapon to 'fine' then you're locked out of upgrading it to 'exceptional' ?? _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ *Casts Nature's Terror* , *Casts Firebug* , *Casts Rot-Skulls* , *Casts Garden of Life* *Spirit-shifts to cat form*

Nope! Exceptional overwrites Fine. You just have to make sure you have enchantment space left on the weapon to do it--2 units, I think, in this case, and 4 to go from Fine to Superb.

As long as you have the space on the item to do it you can pull it off, but once you do it overwrites any previous enchant from the same grouping.
