Heider light thingies

The pictures on their website look rather ...imaginative. But the concept is interesting. I still have friends in the Forces, and am always looking for neat presents.

Okay, those are all sufficiently badass. I'll try the BBX model and see what Dutch engineering is about.

Very nearly bought the CSX model but realized I'd probably never use it because my life is so boring now. May still get it but probably not today.

Well, since posting I've found some pretty ambivalent reviews on them.

 

I guess several companies have had similar ideas.

In all, I'm pleased. It feels good in my hand, sturdy, evidently worth the cost. It's freaking bright, like a xenon spotlight, or whatever the kids are saying these days.  

 

If I was one of Wals' former SAS buddies, I'd be chuffed to receive it as a gift.

For approximately double the money you can get night vision goggles. Just sayin'
