Technically, this game is OpenGL, but when used with ReShade and OpenGL 32.dll, ReShade reports that the game is rendered in DirectX 9. OpenGL is a different API, but maybe in this case it is some kind of a wrapper? I also noticed the game can be forced into DirectX 9 and DirectX 11. DirectX 11 messes up location maps and world map too AFAIK. DirectX 9 does not. Are there any advantages of using forced DirectX 9 over OpenGL or vice versa?

The wrapper is unity basically, I'd guess that Unity supports both... DirectX is not available on non-windows platforms (I dont count wine).
