What are blasts? What blasts does penetrating blast give DR bypass?

 

Okay, it's a passive ability that wizards get.  Causes AOE dmg blast when you hit someone with wand, scepter, rod. I've never actually seen this work

I always see it work.

I've never not seen it work. There's no fancy graphics on it or anything, since that would be annoying as hell. It's just a buff to your auto-attack with Implements.

And it's super-useful, at least until Level 9, at which point spellcasters go nuts and nothing matters.

Okay, I see it working now, I think the DR bypass helped a lot.

 

Man, here I am playing on POTD, TOI and I had no idea what blast was hah.
