I had only cleared the first 3 levels of the endless paths. Now when I return to my stronghold, the door is locked (it says I need a key) and the throne/statue thing doesn't talk to me. Is this suppose to happen and it will reopen later, or is ti a bug.  Since I never used the trap door it is also locked. Anyone else experience this issue?

Sounds like a bug to me.

Not really, you can go through the dungeon as well, like the first time you met Maerwald. Besides, the OP said that door is also locked.

You are right. It sounds like your cache may be corrupted. Time for a checkup.
