Just noticed now she's got 42 intelligence stat with no items equipped and no active buffs...

Sounds like the item stacking bug from having a +item equipped and reloading saves in the area you recruited her.  I believe it's supposed to be retroactively fixed in the next patch.

Thing is I definitely did not reload that many times there. I pretty much just took the character and went back to Defiance Bay.

Man if she was a Wizard her AoE attacks would be epic.

Except that you would find it hard not to hit your own party. One AOE attack that I've got with her takes nearly the whole screen.

She was training in secret :D

Use her like a Laser Guided Missile.

Have a high stealth unit  map out a large group of enemies. And Just Fire a Massive AoE attack nuke.
